Responsibilities: • The Adjustment Technician is a member of the Site Project Management Team, tasked with installing company equipment at customer facilities. • This role involves field commissioning of AMHS equipment, starting from the initial power application to the final acceptance testing with the customer. • Utilize corporate processes to find software revisions and relevant documentation, verify software status, and assess information for log analysis. • Install software independently, following the provided procedures and release notes. • Conduct on-the-job training for customer and internal technicians on routine operations, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of assigned products. • Draft and revise technical procedures within the scope of responsibility and expertise. • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively and analyze system logs to identify the source of errors. • Act as a liaison between the customer and company engineering during installation and service operations. • Complete Daily Log Installation Reports, participate in whiteboard meetings, and compile and submit all required paperwork and status reports under supervision. • Be available for travel on short notice and for extended periods (both domestic and international). • Perform data entry, manipulation, retrieval, and generate reports for submission to the Installation Site Manager. • Propose technical solutions to engineering teams. • Prepare detailed checklists for all work performed on each machine.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient in the use of electrical diagnostic instruments and shop/hand tools. • Familiar with Digital Voltmeter and Oscilloscope operations. • Skilled in reading electrical schematics and blueprints, and diagnosing/troubleshooting electromechanical devices. • Competent with PC software (MS Office, Excel, Windows). • Holds a valid Driver's License and can acquire all necessary travel documents. • Possesses a High School Diploma or GED. • Has over two years of technical field service experience in the semiconductor industry, or an equivalent mix of education and experience. • Capable of reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS • Able to perform calculations involving percentages, area, circumference, and volume. • Can apply basic algebra and geometry principles. REASONING ABILITY • Demonstrates excellent judgment, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. • Utilizes standard statistical analysis methods. • Solves practical problems and manages a range of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. • Interprets various instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formats. • Often requires travel for extended periods (+3 Months) to customer facilities. BEST VS AVG • Installation experience compared to service experience. • Electromechanical experience versus solely mechanical experience. • Knowledge of Digital Voltmeter and Oscilloscope functionality as opposed to experience with other shop/hand tools.
