The Puerto Rico Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales through indirect wireless retail locations in a defined geography and leading a remote team of Indirect Account Executives and Business Development Executives within the Puerto Rico region.

We seek for a highly calibrated, sales oriented a true Captain to it ship leading who leads by example. The Sales Manager who is an experience working manager, well established and wise to mobile life-cycle service, retail sales business and ignited by the success of its team. As the Field Sales Manager you will also be responsible for maintaining a successful client relation. As Ingram Micro, remains at the forehand of the technology marketplace, by bringing the latest product services to the market. Remaining innovated and crafting strategic business solutions and procedures, along successful executing is your forte.


Essential Skills, Experience &

Requirements:

Demonstrated success in managing multiple tasks/initiatives, think through and effectively respond to rapid change, quickly grasp new concepts and programs within Ingram Micro Commerce and LifeCycle Services and or Mobility industries, retail consumer electronics.

  • Developing and implementing strategic sales plan for region, based upon corporate goals.

  • Demonstrated success in planning/prioritization and organization

  • Forecasting activities for region and setting sales goals accordingly.

  • Directing, motivating and recruiting Indirect Account Executives, to execute sales programs.

  • Ensure execution of corporate strategies and strategic partner initiatives within territory.

  • Work closely with strategic partner and retailers to ensure attainment of sales objectives.

  • Reviewing sales plan progress with Indirect Account Executives on a regular basis.

  • Preparing periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of dealer-based expansion.

  • Analyzing and controlling expenditures of region to conform to budgetary requirements.

  • Experience managing P & L

  • Support field sales team and dealer locations through regular on-site visits.

  • Excellent skill set in communicating and customer facing

Education: Bachelors' Degree or equivalent 4-year College Degree

  • Ability to travel extensively within Puerto Rico and periodically to U.S.

  • Five or more years of indirect sales management experience

  • Previous experience managing multiple retail locations at the regional or national level.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with strategic client, Independent retail partners and internally

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Excellent Computer Skills required, including Software knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) is preferred.

  • Required bilingual speaker in English and Spanish; excellent writer and reader

Conducts face-to-face contact with every account assigned and captured on a timely and periodic basis. Focuses on growing account base by obtaining and onboarding new customers along with growing sales by selling deeper and wider in existing accounts. This position is focused on growing sales by capturing new business (80%) and servicing existing business (20%). Actual percentage of time dedicated to these activities will vary based on the needs of the company and territory characteristics including market share and consolidation. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develops and manages a specific territory by increasing market share as a primary objective. Market share increase is primarily accomplished through the cultivation and capture of new accounts. * Responds to customer's concern in a timely fashion, takes appropriate actions to ensure customer issues/opportunities are communicated to appropriate Medical personnel departments. * Plans, organizes and implements effective strategies using all company programs, tools, human resources, and initiatives to increase market share. * Directs sales activities within the territory through the coordination of all team selling assets including Telesales (UST), CEG, Mid Market SAM Team, and the Up Market SAM Team. Selling efforts must be highly coordinated to meet the complex needs of a rapidly changing industry and customer. * Attends all medical conventions/seminars and participates in all training programs as instructed by the Regional Sales Manager, Director of Sales, or VP of Henry Schein Medical. * Cooperates with all Medical personnel in the execution of all company programs and corporate initiatives. * Maintains a high level of integrity and constantly focus on continuing education programs to enhance sales and business acumen and subsequent sales performance. * Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required. In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for: * Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including WorldWide Business Standards. * Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments. EXPERIENCE: * Sales experience helpful but not necessary. * Highly Preferred: experience in door to door sales, commercial b2b, pharmaceutical sales, equipment sales. SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: * High School diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred. * Must be bilingual (English and Spanish) * Excellent computer skills including: Microsoft office (Word and Excel). * Strong selling skills, communication skills, presentation skills, customer service skills, negotiation skills, and good telephone etiquette required.
