The Puerto Rico Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales through indirect wireless retail locations in a defined geography and leading a remote team of Indirect Account Executives and Business Development Executives within the Puerto Rico region.
We seek for a highly calibrated, sales oriented a true Captain to it ship leading who leads by example. The Sales Manager who is an experience working manager, well established and wise to mobile life-cycle service, retail sales business and ignited by the success of its team. As the Field Sales Manager you will also be responsible for maintaining a successful client relation. As Ingram Micro, remains at the forehand of the technology marketplace, by bringing the latest product services to the market. Remaining innovated and crafting strategic business solutions and procedures, along successful executing is your forte.
Demonstrated success in managing multiple tasks/initiatives, think through and effectively respond to rapid change, quickly grasp new concepts and programs within Ingram Micro Commerce and LifeCycle Services and or Mobility industries, retail consumer electronics.
Developing and implementing strategic sales plan for region, based upon corporate goals.
Demonstrated success in planning/prioritization and organization
Forecasting activities for region and setting sales goals accordingly.
Directing, motivating and recruiting Indirect Account Executives, to execute sales programs.
Ensure execution of corporate strategies and strategic partner initiatives within territory.
Work closely with strategic partner and retailers to ensure attainment of sales objectives.
Reviewing sales plan progress with Indirect Account Executives on a regular basis.
Preparing periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of dealer-based expansion.
Analyzing and controlling expenditures of region to conform to budgetary requirements.
Experience managing P & L
Support field sales team and dealer locations through regular on-site visits.
Excellent skill set in communicating and customer facing
Education: Bachelors' Degree or equivalent 4-year College Degree
Ability to travel extensively within Puerto Rico and periodically to U.S.
Five or more years of indirect sales management experience
Previous experience managing multiple retail locations at the regional or national level.
Ability to build strong relationships with strategic client, Independent retail partners and internally
Strong organizational and communication skills
Excellent Computer Skills required, including Software knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) is preferred.
Required bilingual speaker in English and Spanish; excellent writer and reader
