YOU

As a Paid Intern you will be provided an excellent opportunity to gain valuable work experience in the field of building material sales. Interns will get the opportunity to take their creative ideas from the drawing board and use them to solve real world problems while collaborating with our experienced professionals.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (% of Time)

Support field sales team by assisting in constructing product displays, resetting product sets and adding merchandising materials at dealer locations. (35%)

Visit active construction job sites to gather market information and for product surveys (25%)

Provide minor tool repair and support for Quik Drive Systems and attachments (20%)

Assist in providing logistical support and coordination for training workshops (10%)

Help to identify and qualify potential product sales opportunities at various dealer customers and inputting information into CRM tool for opportunity and sales analysis (10%)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

If you can do everything listed above, you've got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in construction management, engineering, business or marketing

• Familiarity with construction terms and processes is desirable

• Requires regional travel and involves hands-on tasks

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in both a professional office environment, customer sites and outdoor construction job sites. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printer/scanner, etc.

The employee occasionally works around moving mechanical parts. Noise level may be loud at times.

TRAVEL REQUIRED

This job requires 20% regional travel.

WORK STATUS & LOCATION

This Part-time, non-exempt position is located in Kent, WA.

RELOCATION

Relocation is not available for this position.

Pay

$14.09 - $21.15 / hour
