SALES & MARKETING FIELD SALES DELIVERED FUELS REPRESENTATIVE

We are looking for a sales and marketing professional to join our team in Gloucester, VA that will help our organization grow and move into the future.
Role and Responsibilities
Commercial delivered fuels is an integral part of Quarles and our sales effort to grow and expand our product lines. The Delivered Fuels Representative is responsible for growing these product lines by adding new accounts, and expanding business with existing accounts.
This is a field sales position and the representative will work in a defined territory in the Virginia Peninsula Region.
The primary responsibilities are to meet a preset sales quota by increasing the number of delivered fuels accounts with Home Builders, ON and OFF Road fuels, DEF, Propane and Heating Oil accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Actively sell and market to customers in the Quarles delivery area of Virginia.
Sign business in the Home Builder and commercial delivered categories, in order to achieve monthly gallon quotas.
Executing against marketing programs
Lead sharing among other Quarles business units.
Qualifying potential opportunities based on the information gathered to determine if the prospect fits the profile criteria set for that product type.
Capture all pertinent information and input into the Sales Force CRM system.
Documenting notes and capturing key information: (business name, contact, address, vehicle estimates and current provider). Information to be utilized for timely follow up and ultimate closing.
Preparing sales forecasts and reports, to monitor sales performance, using the SFDC/ CRM system.
Communicating effectively with internal business partners, supported by a Service Level Agreement, process and plan.
Escalating any issues to Quarles Management, as warranted.
Perform cold calls and in face meetings with new prospects. Sources of leads to include referrals, Equifax, Blue Book, existing Quarles accounts, and targeted marketing initiatives.
Follow up on all customer requests and inquiries in a timely manner.
Record disposition of this follow up in Sales Force and highlight any opportunities that require additional attention.
Provide Credit Department with completed customer application and documents for new business, as outlined in the credit/sales Service Level Agreement.
Delivered Off-Road and On-Road fuels, DEF, Propane and Heating Oil sales growth.
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Bachelor's degree preferred, and three years related sales experience.
Exceptional organizational, written and interpersonal communication skills
Hours of operation: Department is staffed in shifts, M-F, 8:00am 5:00pm.
