We have an opportunity for a Field Sales Application Specialist to support our Residential and Irrigation Flow Team. You will interact with Dealers and Installers to drive profitable new business and expand current relationships. A Field Sales Application Specialist will sell, provide technical expertise, train and manage the Dealer and Installer customer base in a specific geographical location. The right candidate for this role should live in Florida (located in the pan handle), Alabama or Georgia.

You will:

  • Develop a strong technical understanding of Flow Technology products across the entire professional channel / portfolio and how they address customer needs.

  • Direct the analysis of customer specifications to determine proper platform and accessories required about Drives.

  • Meet with customers as needed to convert customer concepts/designs into workable product solutions.

  • Provide expertise and recommend solutions to application and performance problems related to pumps in the field.

  • Build relationships with key Dealers and influence sales of Pentair products and services.

  • Promote Pentair's products & brands effectively utilizing marketing programs, leveraging field resources and distributor and end-user product trainings.

  • Collaborate with the Territory Sales Managers to identify growth opportunities through management and execution of a sales opportunity funnel or action plan.

  • Hold regular technical presentations, training seminars and provide on-site support.

  • Communicate customer feedback for future product developments.

  • Daily travel requirement to distributors' customers (Dealers / Contractors), events, etc.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 3 or more years' experience in a technical sales/ specification role, including strong experience in the application of water well pumping equipment

  • Strong communication skills - verbal and written

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, organize, plan, meet difficult deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Travel: Up to 60% Overnight Travel

The Respiratory Sales Specialist is accountable to drive disease awareness, initiation/usage of products and to achieve targets for sales performance consistent with Novartis' compliance standards and market share. The Respiratory Sales Specialist will develop effective business relationships with customers (physicians, treating staff and other stakeholders) that support delivery of business results, and to initiate or support programs that make a difference to the lives of the patients we serve. This is a remote opportunity. Territory includes Birmingham AL. Your Key Responsibilities: * Responsible for covering a territory that will focus on a defined target list of physicians/practitioners within the territory, and embody disease awareness with key customers. * Focus on the total office call, to assure the needs of all stakeholders are met within compliance guidelines including: Nurses and Office Managers, among others. * Partner with office staff to ensure that HCP's have the information needed to identify appropriate patients and make decisions regarding protocols. * Knowledgeable on treatment initiation logistics. * Educate on Prior Authorization process and payor restrictions. * Work with Office Manager to begin administration process and coordination with support team in connection prior authorizations with the reimbursement process. * Collaborates with Medical Service Liaisons, Patient Service Liaisons, Business Reimbursement Specialists and other commercial roles. * Facilitate referral networks to support patient access, consistent with company policies and guidelines. * Identifies key influencers within a group practice and sphere of influence. * Must develop strong knowledge of treatment algorithm and business dynamics within accounts to address customer needs and create business opportunities in a competitive environment, consistent with company policies and guidelines. Video Link - * Minimum requirements: What You'll Bring to the Role: * Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree a plus. * Three (3) years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience. * Proven track record of consistent high performance. * Strong ability to collaborate and demonstrate success working within cross-functional teams. * This is a remote position that will cover Key Accounts in the assigned region. Candidate must be based within that region or within a reasonable daily commuting distance. Ability to travel 60-80% over a broad geography is required, with the ability to drive and/or fly within the territory. No relocation available. Desirable Requirements: * Study in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or Business related discipline. * Experience with launching Respiratory biologic, or other specialty product with a complex distribution pathway. * Previous Respiratory experience and 2 years of experience selling biologic/specialty product(s) within the last 5 years. * Experience selling in a competitive market environment. * Ability to influence without formal authority in a matrix environment. * Strong ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally within a matrix environment. * Demonstrated effective decision making, problem solving and strategic thinking. * Demonstrated ethical leadership and foster an environment that promotes ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
