Job Essentials:
• Travel to customer sites to perform installations, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of robotics and automation equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including power distributions, wiring, and controls systems, to ensure uninterrupted operation of robotic equipment.
• Repair and rebuild robotic systems in a controlled shop environment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Identify and resolve mechanical problems in robotic systems, including mechanical assemblies, actuator, sensors, and end-effectors.
• Develop and execute maintenance plans to minimize downtime and maximize the longevity of robotic systems.
• Perform calibration procedures, testing, and adjustments to ensure the accuracy and precision of robotic systems and associated components.
• Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to address technical challenges, optimize system performance, and implement improvements.
• Provide technical training and support to customers and end-users on the operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of robotic systems.
• Analyze and evaluate the performance of robotic systems, identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost savings.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports, work orders, and part inventory. Communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to internal teams and customers.
Qualification:
• A Technical degree or equivalent experience (Preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in Fanuc field service and shop rebuilds (Preferred)
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications and programming formats such as Fanuc, ABB, Epson, Kuka, etc.
• Expertise in electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics for industrial robotic systems
• Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
