About All American Classics

All American Classics creates unique commemorative art. We market our items by displaying silent auctions in local businesses for month long events. For the last 20 years we have given back over 25 million dollars to the charities benefited by our auctions.

Tuesday,

The Role:

As an All American Classics Field Representative you will be responsible for displaying and maintaining silent auctions in local businesses during each event. Each event lasts one month.

Typical Event

Responsibilities:

  • In the beginning, display 5-7 auctions in local businesses. (These locations are already secured by AACs Event Coordinator).
  • Every Monday refresh bid sheets and submit bids from locations during live events.
  • Pick up and re-display auctions at new businesses at the start/end of each event.
  • Maintain access and control of local storage unit containing auction products.
  • Be available to pick up locations on a last minute notice.
  • Inventory check upon request.
  • Weekly Pay

Requirements

  • Must have a car big enough to move product and displays. Mid-size car or small SUV is fine.
  • Must have a smart phone.
  • Must be able to physically carry the auction items and displays for set up.
  • Must be easily available to reach by phone, text, or email.
  • Must have strong relationship and communication skills.
  • Must have general computer skills (Gmail, Google Drive, Excel).

Benefits

Currently we have a need for someone to work year round every week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Weekly pay.

The ideal candidate will bring their willingness to engage with people in a given community to effectively collect data, being sure to keep respondent information confidential and secure. Contribute to an important national research project that has the potential to affect government policy. This is a part-time, temporary position, usually 20-25 hours per week, with short periods of up to 40 hours per week. Actual hours worked will vary based on specific projects. DEPARTMENT: FIELD NORC field interviewers are vital to our nationwide survey research operation. We talk to people from every conceivable walk of life in person to obtain information on issues such as health care, employment, and education. The interview is the basic tool by which we are able to provide this data and as the interviewer, you'll have the ability to make that possible. The work we do at NORC has lasting social significance: the data we gather helps legislators and policy-makers determine the best course of action for the welfare of all Americans. Examples of NORC field projects include: * An evaluation of whether a new community policing strategy is effective at reducing crime and increasing public safety while maintaining good community-police relations. * A project that is the most important source of data about the lives of adults and young adults in the U.S. since 1979. Many respondents have participated in this survey since the commencement. * A study which gathers data about families' need for child care and the availability of child care in their communities. * A project which combines interview questions, biomeasures (height, weight, blood spots), and information about participant's location to advance our understanding of activity spaces older Americans live in during their day to day lives, and how that changes as they age. * An ongoing study which collects key details about financial assets and liabilities from households in all income brackets so that the sponsor can understand how the economy is changing.
