Determines overall project plan, budget, structure, schedule, and staffing requirements.
Assists external customer in the definition and implementation of complex integrated solutions requiring CrossLab services.
Is responsible for the pricing of customized solutions and ensuring implementation within goals.
Builds and maintains client and delivery partner relationships.
Coordinates internal and external project team members.
In addition, manages assigned internal projects in support of the development and delivery of SSD services and delivery.

Has the ability to train and mentor others that may be assisting on projects
Can lead meetings, update customers, and communicate well with management
Listens to the needs of the customer and can brainstorm with internal and external teams to develop project plans or resolve project issues
Can adapt quickly to new software, SOP's, and processes as needed to work in different customer situations
Has the ability to travel, when needed, depending on the location of the project

Fundamental Lab-wide Services Project Manager Competencies Required:
Typically 4-5 year's Laboratory technical experience or laboratory instrument service and maintenance experience (Prefer pharmaceutical Instrumentation experience) * Basic GMP and GLP experience preferred
Minimum Four year Educational scientific degree or equivalent experience Formal Project Management training or equivalent experience and demonstrated PM concepts and tools a must
Effective collaboration skills required Ability to manage and understand laboratory instrument service and maintenance business (process & financial). Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
Orientation working with external customer required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Experience collaborating with 3rd party service providers
Demonstrated ability to price and implement complex lab instrument service and maintenance programs at customer sites
Experience using relational Database knowledge using ad-hoc reporting tools to extract data and create and analyze custom reports
Lean Six Sigma background not mandatory but a plus
Familiarity with the following software
