Information about Agilent is available at Supports the sale and manages the solution design/development of large integrated service projects to external customers; often involving multi-function and multi-vendor efforts.
Determines overall project plan, budget, structure, schedule, and staffing requirements.
Assists external customer in the definition and implementation of complex integrated solutions requiring CrossLab services.
Is responsible for the pricing of customized solutions and ensuring implementation within goals.
Builds and maintains client and delivery partner relationships.
Coordinates internal and external project team members.
In addition, manages assigned internal projects in support of the development and delivery of SSD services and delivery.
The ideal candidate:

  • Can Apply and demonstrate commitment to industry accepted project management processes, practices, tools, and behaviors

  • Can provide examples of Successful management, implementation, and deployment of assigned customer CrossLab solutions and projects

  • Will Lead Customer physical inventory and tagging activities

  • Has experience Providing Cross-functional team leadership that is in line with Agilent policies and procedures

  • Assist with 3rd Party On boarding and Contracting for assigned projects

  • Is very detail oriented

  • Has the ability to train and mentor others that may be assisting on projects

  • Can lead meetings, update customers, and communicate well with management

  • Listens to the needs of the customer and can brainstorm with internal and external teams to develop project plans or resolve project issues

  • Can adapt quickly to new software, SOP's, and processes as needed to work in different customer situations

  • Has the ability to travel, when needed, depending on the location of the project

  • Has the ability to work independently and assume responsibility for project timelines, budget, reporting and overall project management

  • Is a strong communicator with internal teams, customers and managers

    Fundamental Lab-wide Services Project Manager Competencies Required:

  • Typically 4-5 year's Laboratory technical experience or laboratory instrument service and maintenance experience (Prefer pharmaceutical Instrumentation experience) * Basic GMP and GLP experience preferred

  • Minimum Four year Educational scientific degree or equivalent experience Formal Project Management training or equivalent experience and demonstrated PM concepts and tools a must

  • Effective collaboration skills required Ability to manage and understand laboratory instrument service and maintenance business (process & financial). Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred

  • Orientation working with external customer required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

  • Experience collaborating with 3rd party service providers

  • Demonstrated ability to price and implement complex lab instrument service and maintenance programs at customer sites

  • Experience using relational Database knowledge using ad-hoc reporting tools to extract data and create and analyze custom reports

  • Lean Six Sigma background not mandatory but a plus

  • Familiarity with the following software

  • Microsoft office (Excel / word / Share Point). Additional software such as Maximo, SAP, or other Data management software, MS Project, Visio or other project management software knowledge is helpful

The Project Manager will ensure that projects are built on schedule, within budget and adhere to quality standards of the plans and specifications and the standards of the company. The Project Manager is a responsible member of the business development/sales team of the company. Responsibilities: ?? Estimate construction costs, develop projects, and manage from start to finish, for projects ranging up to $8M ?? Create and Manage construction delivery schedule. ?? Regular interaction with clients, must deliver an elite level of service and professionalism. ?? Work with trades to define construction scope, delivery schedule, and contract pricing. ?? Verify contract documents to drawings, create subcontracts, payment schedules, and award contracts. ?? Material take-offs, material pricing and purchasing, manage sourcing and pricing of finish schedules. ?? Manage and coordinate with Design Department. ?? Coordinate daily with field personnel to maintain schedule. ?? Problem solves for unanticipated construction situations. ?? Track costs against estimates using software and work with accounting department closely to assess project progress. ?? Change order creation, management, and tracking. ?? Monthly client invoice creation and review. ?? Project forecasting, budget analysis and estimated cost to complete reporting. ?? Attend and represent the company at project meetings. Requirements: ?? Must have extensive knowledge of the commercial construction process with skills in design, finance and management. ?? Experience with design build process is strongly preferred ?? Must be extremely organized, motivated and quality minded ?? Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. ?? Strong interpersonal skills, superior communication skills and be able to motivate personnel working in or for the company ?? Capable of the highest level of client communication and client service is paramount. ?? Minimum of four-year degree in construction/engineering and five years of experience in the construction industry. ?? Fluency with Timberline software is strongly preferred, including Project Management and Estimating ?? Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and MS Project ??
