The Role:

The Field Quality Assurance Specialist will solve complex challenges with last mile delivery in their assigned territory, partnering with their Regional Quality Assurance manager, Operations Managers, and external property managers to ensure timely delivery of goods out of our facilities. The individual in this position will identify, design, and deliver process improvement solutions for various customer experience initiatives, designed to improve Amazon's ability to deliver directly to customers through its network of 3rd party vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Navigate using GPS along a route of addresses provided daily; Track specific Geo Codes for addresses using the on-road application.

  • Verify potential access codes and delivery instructions for assigned addresses and update records as needed using the provided application.

  • Interact with property managers to provide information from Amazon regarding deliveries; record any provided instructions or feedback using the provided application.

  • Interact with property managers as needed to address concerns with service levels being provided.

  • Monitor vendor training compliance; analyze and recommend process improvement solutions that positively impact the customer experience.

  • Observe deliveries in the field to identify barriers to first-time delivery success; recommend solutions and improvements to Amazon's systems and processes

  • Use the assigned tools to effectively manage time and complete daily route. Communicate with assigned dispatcher any problems or concerns on-road that are impacting completion.

  • Document feedback and audit results to help the AMZL team identify strengths, as well as areas of improvement in the provided application and information packet.

  • Maintain a positive attitude and represent the company in a positive manner including adhering to the Vehicle Code of Conduct and reporting any accidents, driving violations, change in license and /or insurance requirements

  • Adherence to the Vehicle Code of Conduct is required.

  • Other additional duties as assigned, based on future quality initiatives based in the field.

  • Proficiency in smart phone and tablet usage including GPS

  • Use logical thinking, analytical & problem solving skills

Description The Product Quality Engineer (PQE), working within the Quality Organization, will have responsibility for the management of product quality issues, including complex customer issues which span multiple organizations. The PQE will also support ongoing development and implementation of Quality Management Systems. Business units supported include North America-based HCS and AEG Technology Groups. Responsibilities/Duties: * Manage cross-functional global teams to ensure expedient closure of complex product quality Issues from initiation to closure. * Manage fast effective containment, root cause verification & corrective actions (occurrence, escape, systemic), and deployment of lessons learned of complex issues across organizational boundaries. Escalate issues when needed. * Initiate Risk Management activities. * Oversight of ADI quality performance for product quality issues. * Manage product quality issues, ensuring timely and actionable 8D updates, with a focus on prevention and zero defects. * Facilitate the use of structured problem-solving tools in root cause investigation and corrective action identification. * Ensure internal and external customer updates are provided in agreed formats and frequency, and that internal systems are maintained. * Work with Manufacturing and Business Units in identifying areas for continuous improvement. * Review and approve customer facing reports. * Represent Analog Devices in Customer facing Quality interactions. * Travel, 5-10% annually Requirements * Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline * 5+ years semiconductor, medical device, and/or related manufacturing or development experience * Strong practitioner of structured Quality problem-solving skills * Experience in managing and coordinating teams across multiple disciplines * Be self-motivated with a proven record of working in challenging environment * Project management skills with experience in achieving milestones in a team environment * Demonstrate proficiency in technical writing and independent research * Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization * Knowledge of quality systems and customer requirements is desirable * Familiarity with semiconductor qualification activities is desirable * Experience with automotive customer requirements is desirable * Experience with working directly with customers is desirable Analog Devices is committed to achieving best in class quality, supporting our technology leadership and service excellence reputation.
