FIELD PROJECT MANAGER (SUPERINTENDENT) ENTACT is a premier national provider of environmental and geotechnical construction services. We directly self-perform environmental remediation and geotechnical construction work, using in-house personnel and equipment resources.

ENTACT has numerous regional offices and project sites across the United States.

ENTACT is actively seeking an experienced Field Project Manager (Superintendent) in the environmental remediation and geotechnical construction industry. Candidates must be open to sustained project-based travel within the US, at least 80% of the time.

Project locations will vary depending on the assignment. Candidates can reside anywhere within the US. Position Summary:

The position of Field Project Manager (Superintendent) will assume the pivotal role of overseeing all on-site project operations, meticulously ensuring that projects are executed with the utmost focus and adherence to safety, schedule, budget, and site plans. This individual will exhibit a high level of attention to detail, adept time management skills, and a "lead from the front" attitude. The candidate will coordinate a diverse team of craft employees including equipment operators, laborers, subcontractors, and mechanics.

Duties & Responsibilities: Ensuring all personnel comply with ENTACT safety standards and programs. Ensuring implementation and quality of project plans Maintaining effective schedule and cost control methods Detailed planning and coordination of work two weeks in advance Leading on-site meetings with project staff, subcontractors, and clients Maintaining accurate daily field reports, schedule updates and email correspondence Maintaining a high level of communication with craft employees, clients and ENTACT management Responding to site changes and challenges in an affective timely manner Cultivating and maintaining a strong relationship with the client and project oversite Technical Knowledge:

The preferred candidate should have experience managing multiple aspects of large-scale environmental projects and services. Basic computer knowledge is preferred. Exposure to and familiarity with any of the following areas of technical knowledge is highly desirable but not all are required:

Physical Demands/Activities Physical, visual and situational activities that are commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job include, but are not limited to: Most work is performed while standing or walking outdoors.

    Must be capable of working under physical stress conditions such as heat stress and cold stress during various weather conditions and potential long workdays. Possibility of use of respiratory equipment (i.e. half-face, full-face, SCBA, etc.) Heat extremes when wearing certain types of PPE. Wear Level C and D PPE including cotton, Tyvek, chemical protective coveralls, eye and face protection, hand protection, etc.

    Potential for Level A and B PPE exists. Working on elevations such as scaffolding, bridges, buildings, etc. Expected to lift objects weighing 1 to 25 lbs. on a regular basis and may be required to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

    Donning of varying types of personal protective equipment (PPE) as project requirements and conditions warrant. Minimum PPE includes steel toe safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs and reflective safety vest. Working in loud or noisy environments.

    Environmental/Atmospheric Conditions: Environmental and atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job include: Outside construction site.

    Terrain is rugged and may be difficult to navigate. Dusty and windy atmospheres. Confined spaces.

    Contaminated atmospheres (i.e. fumes, vapors, lead dust, H2S, etc.) Personal Protective Equipment Different types of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be worn including, but not limited to hard hat, hearing protection such as ear plugs or muffs, eye protection such as safety glasses, goggles, face shield, etc., welders helmet, safety vest, various types of gloves including leather, Nitrile, latex, etc., steel toe boots, and various respiratory protection such as dust masks, half face and full face respirators, SCBAs, APRs, etc. may be required depending on site conditions.
