Field Project Manager

The Field Project Manager will supervise all site construction and field personnel as required to complete a project on schedule and within budget. This position entails regular site visits to provide direction to field personnel and to ensure the crews are following the details of the plans and codes for each project. Job Responsibilities include:

Supervise all construction, site activities, and field personnel through daily site visits. Secure subcontractor agreements and equipment rentals before the project starts. Ensure all subs' pay agreements are posted before Tuesday at noon for payroll processing.

Forms are to be loaded to BT. Attend pre-walks on all projects before starting. Ensure you always have a full-scale set of plans on you.

Job site boxes with plans for inspectors/engineers. Participate in folder reviews with the Sales Department by calculating labor and reviewing plans for any missed items before selling. Keep notes of your reviews and calculations for future reviews.

You have a BT job under your name that you can record these and attach photos. Submit and upload all documents to BT that are required for process build. Such as pre-walk forms, final walk forms, sub-pay sheets, and rental agreements.

If plans change in the field, they need to be redlined, office notified, and a copy loaded to BT. Walk the project daily with your lead crew member reviewing the work together. Ensure tags are removed from plants.

If you change plant selections - a new plant name needs to be added to LMN next to plant substituting. Always knock on the door when on-site to answer any homeowner questions and provide updates on their project. Post to BT upon arrival of the job with the anticipated work schedule for the day.

Load photos of the entire job site including material drop location and trash piles. This must be done before leaving. This alerts the customer we were on-site Post to BT at the end of the day with work completed, and any materials needed.

Ensure job sites remain clean and neat. Keep materials and trash always organized. Protect the work area before any scheduled rain days to ensure work may resume the next day.

Ensure work and warranty performed are up to MGS standards and homeowner's satisfaction. Ensure projects run smoothly so that clients are fully satisfied and willing to leave reviews at the end of the project. Schedule and perform final walk-throughs on projects on the last day the sub is working to ensure the sub can complete the punch list while still on the job.

Coordinate and communicate with outside trades to ensure their work does not hold you up from completing your project. Log production taken by listing the value of materials delivered that day along with the dollar amount of labor performed that day. Review jobs monthly with your crew.

Use rainy days to take your crew leader around to job sites to review plans and sites. Get them to sign off on sub-labor well in advance of jobs starting. Qualifications: 3 years of industry experience preferred.

Strong oral and written communication skills are essential. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Must be detail-oriented and possess multi-tasking skills.

Prior work experience in some of the following areas required - landscaping, hardscaping, carpentry, construction, or irrigation systems. Benefits include:
