Job Summary

Drives awareness and education of OEC technologies and automaker competitive pricing programs. Increases overall parts sales through performance coaching and regular visits with Ford OEM and Dealer partners in an assigned region to improve customer satisfaction and product utilization.

Candidates must reside in the Los Angeles, CA, San Diego, CA or other Southern California area to be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calls on dealers, both in-person and virtually, to ensure OEC product performance is being optimized through business process consultation, education, and data analysis and review. Ensures customer satisfaction to maintain product subscription levels.

  • Coaches dealers and all their parts staff in utilizing OEC solutions and creates targeted selling approaches to increase sales volume to current customer base.

  • Partners with dealership staff to perform customer visits, virtually and in-person.

  • Works closely to build a partnership among Ford Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Dealer staff, bringing overall awareness of how OEC technologies and solutions help, and fostering an environment focused on selling more OE parts.

  • Manages assigned book of business as sold by Direct Sales and/or National accounts, meeting or exceeding expectations outlined in services agreement.

  • Creates and analyzes reports through internal OEC sources; identifies and understands market and dealer trends and conditions; shares results, develops and implements Dealer Action Plans with dealership management for continuous improvement to achieve performance goals via OEC solutions.

  • Participates in various projects relating to increasing value of OEC technology such as pilot programs, dealer meetings, industry forums, or supporting OEM events.

  • Maintains responsibility for lead generation for Performance Coaching and OEC products through partnership with Direct Sales.

  • Partners with OEC teams across the organization to ensure the best possible customer experience.

  • Documents daily work activities in OEC's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

  • Develops a deep understanding of OEC solutions, Ford OEM programs, and automotive trends to improve professional growth within the coaching role.

Education

An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or related discipline is preferred.

Experience

At least 1 year of account management or consultative sales experience in a market-driven environment with a customer-oriented background. Must also be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:

  • Proven results-oriented background with the drive to produce quantifiable results.

  • Is assertive and takes initiative; is a self-starter

  • Able to build and maintain effective customer relationships.

  • Strong organizational abilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

  • Able to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.

Travel

Frequent travel throughout the U.S. by car and plane is required for this position (at least 75% of scheduled work time) and may vary based on business needs.
