You'll manage a diverse team of 20+ Field Technicians responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining outside plant copper and fiber services for our customers. Safety, quality issues, workforce performance, feedback and training, and labor relations will all be on your radar. And you'll be pushing your team and yourself to find ways to improve business results every day.

  • Leading, motivating, developing and coaching your Field Technicians.

  • Developing action plans to mitigate service issues.

  • Proactively collaborating with labor/union.

  • Removing barriers and solving problems to help your team be productive.

What we're looking for...

You're organized, motivated, and detail oriented, and known for your sound judgment. Solving problems creatively and constantly looking for ways to improve processes are some of your strengths. You're comfortable holding people accountable for their performance and their adherence to policy, and you're able to inspire and engage diverse groups to do their best work.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Availability to work extended hours when necessary, including weekends and after hours and on call as required for the needs of the business.

  • Valid driver's license.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.

  • Four or more years of knowledge of installation and maintenance on copper or fiber technology.

  • Supervisory experience in a field operations environment.

  • Experience in administering processes and policies as they relate to: safety, attendance, performance work rules and code of conduct.

  • Experience with communication systems and tools.

  • Experience with MS Word, Excel & Outlook.

  • Experience providing training, feedback and motivation to employees.

  • Strong organizational, time-priority management and results-driven leadership skills.

  • Knowledge of employment/labor laws.

  • Union employee management experience.

  • Customer service experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret labor contracts/collective bargaining agreements.

  • Experience with outside plant construction, electronics and placing/splicing copper/fiber.

VIEW JOBS 4/5/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-04T00:00 General Summary: Under the general supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, supervises non-clinical, operational activities and functions related to WellSpan Pharmacy retail locations as assigned. Duties and Responsibilities: 1 Provides oversight of all pharmacies to ensure standardization, staffing equity, appropriate workflow and support for management teams. 2 Develops a working knowledge of all department technology and supports staff on proper use of pharmacy dispensing software in conjunction with IT staff. Maintains knowledge of all computer systems and equipment used in pharmacies. Ensures staff are competent at using systems and equipment. 3 Establishes and maintains appropriate Inventory systems and levels to meet customer needs while being fiscally responsible. Works with Senior Buyer to oversee OTC and Rx inventory levels. Ensures Ordering procedures are known and followed by all staff. Responsible for management of front end of assigned locations. 4 Acts as a role model for superior customer service, providing feedback and coaching as appropriate. Monitors Ambulatory Patient Satisfaction survey scores and CRS trending. Responds timely and appropriately to all customer service failures and complaints and records appropriately in the Customer Reporting System(CRS) and provides appropriate follow up to insure service recovery 5 Ensures Proper cash policies and procedures are followed by all staff. 6 Oversees Lead Technicians with regard to scheduling and training for all locations as well as possessing HR responsibilities including hiring, coaching, counseling, corrective action and performance evaluations for Tech IIs. Assists Lead Technicians with coordinating training of new systems, yearly competencies, staff meetings or vacation coverage. Analyzes work flow and recommends/implements appropriate improvements following Lean, LDMS and A3 concepts. 7 Demonstrates a commitment to patient, visitor and staff by: complying with all applicable safety regulations; learning the impact of medical errors and methodology that will lead to reduction of errors; reporting actual and potential errors, as well as hazardous conditions; identifying opportunities to standardize processes that will lead to increased safety, and integrates services within the department, with other departments, and with the System's primary functions. Participates in the selection of outside services (if needed). 8 Continuously assesses and improves the departments performance. Conducts regular store visits to monitor operations. 9 Develops, establishes and implements goals, objectives, and policies and procedures for all locations which guide and support operations. Meets regularly with staff to voice vision and direction and provide policy updates. Schedules monthly staff meetings in conjunction with Pharmacy manager to address all current issues and training needs. Responsible to ensure locations are following Department Plan and staff are focused on achieving annual goals through utilization of project prioritization. 10 Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation. 11 Mentors and continually strives to coach staff for personal growth and development. Ensures staff meet requirements for Yearly WellSpan competencies and Joint Commission standards. Required to complete corrective action plan when necessary in conjunction with Pharmacy Managers. 13 Assures department readiness for Joint Commission, DEA, & State inspections, ensures compliance with all applicable rules and regulations and department requirements, oversees department policy and procedure review, revisions, & education of staff 14 Represents WellSpan Pharmacy on system committees and is involved in departmental committees as assigned by Director. 15 Responsible for completing requested regularly scheduled reports or immediate need reports for Leadership. 16 Will coordinate with Leadership on areas of Personal Development and Future Goals.
