Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Field Operations Intern will be responsible for building dashboards for store operations associates. This position will be a blend of in-office work and field work. This role will work in a fast paced workspace with frequent need for multitasking, prioritization and flexibility. The Field Operations Intern will work with professionals to assist in the daily operations associated with running retail stores.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review existing dashboards and execute continuous improvement efforts

  • Analyze data and prepare dashboards to tell clear, manageable stories for various store operations populations

  • Travel to local stores to gather data and develop a clear understanding of departmental needs

  • Shadow multiple department members to gain understandings of individual roles in the department

  • Assist with projects, programs or services to execute department objectives

  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems

  • Acquire an understanding of the business environment, conduct, compliance and ethics of a retail organization

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in business administration or related field.

  • Experience using Microsoft Suite and ability to learn and use the Google platform.

  • Strong computer skills as well as strong communication skills.

  • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's licence, clean driving record, auto insurance and the ability to pass a driving history check .
