YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO OUR SUCCESS!
A Field Operations Intern contributes to AHF's mission by being dynamic and driven in supporting field operations for the 2019 Florida AIDS Walk, the annual 5K walk raising funds and awareness for HIV/AIDS services throughout Florida.
Taking place on Saturday, March 23rd, 2019, this year's Florida AIDS Walk will again be presented by AHF Pharmacy and is a highly anticipated event aimed at increasing South Florida's awareness, prevention and treatment efforts against the spread of HIV.
As a Field Operations Intern, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Supporting awareness, recruitment and activation efforts for the 2019 Florida AIDS Walk, serving as a local contact for past and prospective participants, assisting AHF staff with administrative duties related to the Florida AIDS Walk (including donation processing), collateral distribution (posters, postcards, displays) in targeted South Florida communities, responding to e-mail inquiries and providing front-line support to prospective and registered participants, donors and supporters, and serving as a member of the on-site event team assisting with set-up, execution and tear down.
As the Internship nears the March 23rd event date, interns can expect to see their rolls increase with responsibility and management of multiple rolls in support of the event.
The Field Operations Intern adds consistent value to the Florida AIDS Walk Team by adapting to various situations with ease and by being flexible but most of all bring new and fresh ideas to the table to engage and support our local Florida Community.
