KCF Technologies is looking to hire a Field Operations Engineer, to help support customer activity in the West Texas Region (Midland, TX) to service our Oil & Gas customers. This position can be based in the Dallas, Fort Worth, TX area. Ideally, the Field Operations Engineer will have Oil & Gas (O&G) experience including working with fracing equipment.

Duties of the Field Operations Engineer include:

  • On-site troubleshooting and Quality Assurance of our SmartDiagnostics software and hardware products
  • Perform customer training programs on our SmartDiagnostics software and hardware
  • Answer questions and solve customer problems as company grows
  • Deliver our Sentry monitoring services solution including installation, setup and analysis
  • Continuous innovation to provide value to customer

Requirements

Requirements of the Field Operations Engineer include:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, or Industrial Engineering or similar job experience
  • Field Service experience along with Oil & Gas and Hydraulic Fracturing experience is preferred
  • For the purposes of determining compliance with U.S. export control regulations, all applicants will be required to answer yes or no to the following question: Are you a U.S. Citizen, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (i.e., a green card holder), an asylee, or a refugee?
  • Able, willing, and excited to visit and maneuver through large oil & gas fracing sites with multiple naysayers and supporters
  • Ability to travel 40-80%

VIEW JOBS 11/17/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-15T00:00 Title Senior Operations Engineer Location Midland, TX Job Summary Responsibilities include: * Manage an assigned production operations area * Create cost estimates and AFEs for new drill wells, workovers, recompletions, and well maintenance operations * Participate and advise on complex workover activities and fishing operations with less experienced staff * Lead and direct field operations and production surveillance teams to optimize base production and identify profitable uplift opportunities * Manage and optimize chemical program for assigned area * Demonstrate a recognized proficiency in the design and analysis of artificial lift systems, including rod pump, ESP's, and gas lift * Recognize and respond to production impacts associated with Land agreements and Regulatory compliance * Develop detailed wellwork procedures, including economic justification * Coordinate with wellsite supervisors to execute workover procedures * The ability to properly prioritize multiple workovers efficiently * Analyze well failures and make recommendations for improved reliability * Provide valid cost estimates with reservoir engineers and geologists in developing capital programs * Track, monitor and adjust capital spending to insure compliance with capital budgets * Coach field operations on managing LOE budget * Identify LOE spending trends and implement cost improvement strategies * Provide technical support to field operations * Demonstrate Health, Safety & Environmental leadership Education/Experience Required * Bachelor degree in engineering discipline * Recommended minimum of 8 years of upstream oil/gas industry experience * Demonstrated work experience in the areas of artificial lift, stimulation, production operations and economics * Direct work experience utilizing exploration and production industry engineering software packages * Demonstrated work experience and proficiency with PC based programs, specifically, MS Excel and Word * Concho's annual review and application of the Fair Labor Standards Act has determined that this position is an exempt position * Must be able to work in the United States indefinitely Skills/ Attributes Desired * Horizontal and multiple stage completion experience * Experience in operations preferred, either as an engineer, production foreman, or similar COG Operating LLC ("Concho") uses e-Verify to confirm eligibility to work in the United States.
