Turns is looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual to help manage the logistics of our fast growing tech-enabled contracting services. Individuals should thrive in a fast paced environment and be able to handle elements of customer acquisition, relationship building, work order assignment, daily management of the complex problem of making sure that all work orders are completed by our contractors, and contribute to long term growth strategies. The ideal candidate would excel in people skills and problem solving. This individual must be a critical thinker, not easily overwhelmed, and able to pivot quickly. All of this, while developing and maintaining strong relationships with our contractors and clients.


  • Primary focus: prioritize locating and developing mutually beneficial and lasting relationships with our service partners

  • Recruit, screening and validate quality Service Partners

  • Maintain and assist growth of key Service Partners

  • Issue resolution, customer education, and customer communications

  • Manage all aspects of the daily operations of our two way platform - onboarding of service including active knowledge of Trustwork, coordinate allocation of key service partners time, and identify key trends between customers needs and our service partners capabilities

  • Implementing and following through with strategic growth strategies

  • Negotiating deals and setting expectations with contractors.

  • Identifying and upholding best practices for our vendors

  • Identify pricing trends

  • Knowledge of compliance requirements and restrictions

  • Be able to handle multi-task and pivot in a timely and organized manner

  • Solve client and contractor miscommunication in a timely fashion

  • Contribute with innovative ideas to expand the business in a new region

  • Travel to multiple locations to maintain relationships with clients and contractors


  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with highly motivated team members

  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting

  • Ability to quickly and effectively build partnerships with all customers

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred

  • Active knowledge of construction and/or Commercial Real Estate preferred

  • Proficient computer skills

  • Active listening: Operations will need to be able to actively listen to teammates, service partners, and clients in order to interpret the core subject of the matter of the conversation. Open mindedness and forthright communication is a cornerstone for the fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment of Turns

  • Communication skills: Team members will speak with coworkers, contractors, and clients on a regular basis. Exceptional communication skills and an ability to effectively present analyses to both internal and external clients and influence change required

    Multiple projects, people and many moving pieces will keep team members on their toes

  • Problem Solving Skills:
    Team members will be relied on to be market growth drivers as well as need to be ready when problems or complaints arise and be ready to respond with patience and understanding will a desire to solve the problem quickly

The candidate selected for the position may work weekends, holidays and other non-business hours. The position will direct, manage, supervise and coordinate the activities and operations of the golf course clubhouses including managing the POS system, coordinating building repairs, managing pro shop inventories and food service operations and Coordinates assigned activities with other divisions, departments and outside agencies; and provides complex administrative support to senior management staff. The job functions of the position will supervise staff, which includes prioritizing and assigning work; conducting performance evaluations; ensuring staff is trained; ensuring employees follow policies and procedures; maintaining a healthy and safe working environment; and, making hiring, termination, and disciplinary decisions or recommendations. The position will also manage and participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies and priorities for assigned field operations services and programs. Monitors cash handling procedures; conducts spot audits at all City golf courses. Manage the City sponsored programs including the golf tournament schedule, adult programming and junior programming. Conducts clubhouse inspections concerning various operations which may include kitchen operations, customer service levels; investigates customer complaints and concerns concerning clubhouse operations services. Records and maintains information on the clubhouse operations and compares results with established standards. Participates in the development and administration of the division's annual budget. Participates in the forecast of funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials and supplies; monitors and approves expenditures; and implements adjustments. Conducts a variety of organizational studies, investigations and operational studies; and recommends modifications to clubhouse operation programs, policies and procedures as appropriate. Performs other related duties as required. Minimum Requirements: Associate's degree from an accredited college in Engineering or a related field and five years of increasing responsible experience in building maintenance, and operations related to assigned field operations division, including two years of administrative and supervisory responsibility; a High School diploma with ten years of experience may be substituted for the educational requirement. Valid Class "C" Texas driver's license. Preferences: Class A PGA Golf Professional. Experience managing Club Prophet Software System. Previous experience as a head golf professional.
