Zendesk is looking for a forward thinking passionate Field Marketing Manager to join our AMER Marketing team, based in the midwest (Madison, Chicago, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, or Minneapolis area) and reporting to the East Marketing Director. This person will partner with the sales and customer success teams that cover OH, MI, IN, WI, IO, MN, IL and eastern Canada to generate pipeline for current and new customers by developing, managing, executing and tracking demand generation programs.
Work with Sales Leadership to design, plan, execute and track impactful creative marketing plans to meet and/or exceed quarterly pipeline and revenue targets
Drive and execute marketing campaigns to penetrate and expand into Enterprise target accounts.
Develop and execute Zendesk-hosted events to drive expansion and to uncover new opportunities
Plan and execute our participation in 3rd party dinners and conferences with end to end plan & follow-up, measurement and ROI.
Manage to a quarterly marketing budget including onboarding vendors, creating purchase requisitions and ensuring invoices are paid by accounts payable.
Share best practices with fellow Field Marketing managers and leverage their best practices
Work closely with outside marketing vendors from onboarding to invoicing
Leverage or complement corporate marketing campaigns in the field
Utilize systems and tools such as SFDC and marketing dashboards to analyze pipeline and opportunity data to best determine marketing mix
Manage numerous projects simultaneously, in a dynamic environment
Motivated self-starter who thrives in complex fast-paced environment
Experience with developing, executing and tracking results tied to event based marketing plans
5+ years of executing Marketing Programs including events, direct mail programs and digital advertising
Experience working in google docs/calendar/email, sf.com and Eloqua
Decisive, agile, and iterative; easily able to shift gears between thinking and doing.
Ability to inspire cross-functional teams to work with you to deliver results
Ability to develop good working relationships with the sales, field marketing and corporate marketing teams
Work out of the Madison office 1 week per month where the sales team is located
U.S passport to travel to Canada
Travel to events in the midwest including: OH,MI,IN,WI,IO, MN, IL and eastern Canada
Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively event plans, details and results
Bachelor's degree required
