We're looking for a seasoned and dynamic Field Marketing & Events Manager to engage the developer community, spearhead regional event strategies, and drive impactful campaigns.

In this key role, you will lead end-to-end event management, develop regional campaign strategies, cultivate relationships with key influencers, developers, and technical decision-makers and partner closely with cross-company teams.

This position is based in the US, with a fully remote or hybrid work model

Responsibilities

  • Develop regional event and campaign strategies, oversee decision-making processes, and manage onsite event logistics.

  • Manage end-to-end events and meetups from planning to execution, logistics, and budget, with a special focus on events for the developer community, including tracking event success, ROI, and contribution to sales pipeline generation within this segment.

  • Develop and execute field marketing strategies aimed specifically at engaging the developer community, including hackathons, tech talks, and developer meetups.

  • Develop and execute customer executive engagement strategies - sporting events, virtual events, exec seminars.

  • Plan and execute large-scale in-person events tailored to the developer community, involving coordination with company stakeholders and global figures in the tech industry.

  • Cultivate relationships with key influencers, developers, and technical decision-makers to enhance event content and reach.

  • Partner and collaborate with multiple team members from Sales, Partnerships, Product, Marketing and Operations departments in order to facilitate and produce successful events.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing field marketing strategy, campaigns and events to the developer community for a tech/dev/data software company.

  • 5+ years of experience working at developer platform companies, with a solid familiarity with developer tools, platforms, and communities.

  • Strong understanding of the developer ecosystem and the ability to identify emerging trends and opportunities for engagement

  • Remarkable project and time management skills.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time for in-person event execution.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to work across multiple time zones and communication channels.
