Who we're looking for:

Starry is seeking a part-time Field Marketing Associate who will act as the face of Starry at various marketing events around the city. Our ideal candidate is a positive, self-starter who is confident, outgoing, personable and well spoken. You'll enjoy being in front of customers and sharing our brand mission while in the field. You'll understand and then effectively communicate Starry's offering and value proposition. Our Field Marketing Associate's will be needed at various times including weekday mornings, evenings, and also weekends.

Work schedules can be made to accommodate classes or other commitments. The position is part time and includes evenings and weekends.

What you'll do:

  • Create a unique and on-brand experience to increase brand awareness

  • Staff local public and private events hosted by Starry and other partners

  • Recommend events, experiences and influencers that align with the Starry mission

  • Communicate success stories, key learning's and other activities to Marketing team

  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of events

  • Generate awareness through postering and other guerilla style street activations

Points for:

  • 1-2 years of customer facing experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of Boston neighborhoods and surrounding communities

  • Willingness to work weekday mornings, evenings, and weekends

  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position such as bustling about, standing, bending, and sitting for the duration of your shift

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds

  • Enthusiasm for new technology and the internet space

Bonus points if:

  • You have experience with events

  • You have passionate feelings about Starry and our mission

  • Your sense of humor shines through, even if under stress

  • Political canvassing experience a plus

Our opportunity reports to the Sr. Manager, Field Marketing Americas The Zscaler Field Marketing Manager is responsible for developing strategically focused marketing campaigns, programs and activities designed to support the sales process from prospecting to close and up-sell. These activities are customized to specific regions, reps, accounts, contacts, and opportunities. The Field Marketing Managers are tightly aligned to the sales team and continually evaluate against quarterly goals to ensure positive contributions are being made to develop new business pipeline. Position Location: Open to applicants who reside in Boston, New York, New Jersey or DC. Responsibilities: * Work hand-in-hand with Sales, the channel account teams, and demand generation to gather territory requirements and build marketing campaign plans to support pipeline targets * Develop, execute and manage ongoing regional demand generation, including seminars, tradeshows, regional account-based programs, email campaigns, integrated online campaigns, partner enablement, events etc. * Develop a deep understanding of the business and act as primary marketing contact with local sales team and leaders, including regular participation in sales team calls, in-person meetings and planning sessions. * Work with the Partner business development and channel marketing teams to understand best partner sales opportunities, develop marketing programs to drive business and increase partner engagement * Tailor corporate marketing programs, to align with your regional focused account needs and business issues specific to your region * Track campaign budget, results, measure program success, and report metrics.
