The Center for Professional Development in Career and Technical Education in the College of Education is a grant- funded program charged with delivering field-based teacher education programming in a specialized setting. The Field Liaison and Data Management Coordinator oversees all aspects of quality assurance and data management at the Center. This position will also perform duties associated with program evaluation, student relationship management, process and system improvement and research support. The incumbent will work collaboratively with other Center staff to coordinate all surveys and data collection and reporting processes. The coordinator will report directly to the Executive Director. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Education or workforce related field required and at least three years of directly related experience required. Data management and evaluation experience in higher education environment, and working with diverse stakeholders required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Ability to interact with students, administrators and faculty requiring intensive concentration and excellent listening skills.
Must prioritize well and focus on completion of tasks and objectives in a fast-paced environment.
Must demonstrate competence with an ability to effectively use computers, data analytical tools and related software.
Proven track record of high level customer service and organizational skills.
Proven track record of working with complex systems and databases.
Ability to be detailed oriented and provide accurate and timely information.
Ability to seek input and troubleshoot information.
Ability to collect and analyze data.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and in writing).
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and diverse environment.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities.
Ability to respond to requests from Center, College, and PDE in a timely manner.
Familiarity with career and technical education landscape.
Experience managing complex data-driven projects.
Master's and/or Doctorate Degree preferred.
