Field Experience Assistant

Assist the Director of Field Experiences in making and documenting field placements
Maintain correspondence with administrators in numerous schools and districts
Assist the Director of Field Experiences in organizing and implementing training for supervisors, candidates, and mentor teachers
Use multiple software applications to collect, organize, and disseminate information to relevant stakeholders
Assist with providing appropriate data to staff and faculty
Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with school districts, host teachers, and university supervisors
Develop and maintain effective methods for communicating information related to the Office of Field Experiences, including web pages, e-mail, and face-to-face meetings
Take initiative to identify and help resolve challenges that arise in the office
High School Diploma
Successful work experience collecting, organizing, and distributing data
History of successful collaboration in a work environment
Demonstrated ability to effectively use Microsoft products, including Word and Excel (Testing must be completed by October 5th for full consideration, please see instructions below)
Demonstrated ability to effectively use Google products, including Documents, Sheets, and Forms
Evidence of ability to identify problems and show initiative in addressing those problems
Successful experience with learning new computer applications
Demonstrated commitment to a diverse work environment, including working with multi-cultural populations and an understanding of, and sensitivity to, issues affecting women and minorities
