Job Description and Duties

The Associate Governmental Program Analyst certification list is being used as an appropriate list to hire for the Field Examiner II classification. To be eligible, you must meet the minimum qualifications for both classifications and be eligible on the Associate Governmental Program Analyst list.

Under the general supervision of the Regional Director and direct supervision of the Field Examiner III, the incumbent is independently responsible for the complete process of handling cases of average difficulty in unfair labor practice investigations, representation matters, and compliance related activities.

The ALRB exercises jurisdiction over approximately 800,000 farmworkers and employers, providing collective bargaining rights to farmworkers that were specifically exempted from the coverage of the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) in 1935.
