Keysight is looking for an experienced engineering sales professional who will combine engineering knowledge with business understanding to become a highly trusted advisor within your customers, gaining deep insight to create exceptional business results.
This position is focused on growing sales of Keysight's electronic measurement products, systems and solutions through your deep understanding of the customer's business. You will become a trusted partner with your customers to run the gamut of solving short term technical challenges to identifying and solving complex measurement solutions that impact the customer's bottom line.
Having deep understanding of the customer's situation and business goals to create new opportunities and win business as well as developing strong customer relationships and ensuring customer success are key aspects to this position. You will team with an army of internal Keysight applications specialists, business experts and management to assist your success.
You will work under broad directions, determining where you spend your time and developing your focus and best creative ideas. You will develop plans to communicate with your internal partners and management to keep your business on track driving your sales process. You will manage opportunities and complex issues that require leadership and coordination with technical staff, and internal product organizations and partners. You will keep in close contact with key accounts, conducting regular status and strategy meetings with the customer's senior management to understand their needs and lead them to Keysight's products and services solutions.
You will be compensated by a 60% salary and 40% commission that yields 100% target pay achievement at 100% of targeted sales. As you exceed your target, you will be rewarded with accelerated commission rates with no cap.
1-5 years of sales experience or 1-5 years design experience with an intense desire for a sales position.
BS/MS Electrical Engineering or equivalent education.
Strong understanding of electronic test and measurement applications.
Passion for continuous learning in electronics technology and professional selling.
Great communication skills, written, speaking and presenting.
Solid business judgment with organization & negotiation skills.
Creative problem-solving skills
Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
