Oasis Petroleum has field internship opportunities available for the summer for student's currently enrolled in their sophomore year. These individuals will have the opportunity to work in a field operations environment in Williston, ND.
Essential Job Functions
Interns are assigned a mentor, will have the opportunity to shadow in a field operations area(s), and will be responsible for a project to gain valuable experience and contribute to the Oasis team. Interns will give a final presentation to management at the end of the summer. Interns will gain:
A fundamental understanding of the field operations of the Company
A basic understanding of safe processes and related behaviors
Experience networking and building relationships inside and outside of Oasis
Exposure to different disciplines of field operations as available

Pursuing Bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering or related Engineering degree.
Expected graduation date of December 2020 or later
Candidates applying must be able to work in their assigned North Dakota field location (Williston, Watford City or Alexander) during their internship
Must be able to provide an academic transcript
Available for a minimum of twelve continuous weeks

Previous oil and gas related internship experience
