Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist In Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) with maintaining criteria and maintenance tasks for the lifecycle support of IO and SSEE FoS, Spectral and associated MM systems.

  • Ensure that all documentation for systems is technically accurate and adequate for the lifecycle support and sustainment.

  • Assist with design reviews, validating maintenance actions, and maintaining repair procedures for IO and SSEE FoS, MM, and Spectral subsystems and components.

  • Assist the ISEA to identify and track DGSIT/SOT issues and work with Type Commander (TYCOM) and fleet commanders to resolve those issues.

  • Participate in fleet sponsored meetings and briefs including I&W Systems Working Group (SWG), Engineering Working Groups, Fleet waterfront conferences, Signals of Interest (SOI) IPT, Strike Group Post Deployment, and IO FoS Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) Management Team (DMT).

  • Conduct quarterly reviews of Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs) and Maintenance Index Pages (MIPs) for correctness and accuracy and perform updates based on TFBRs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Systems, or related field is preferred

  • At least four (4+) years of experience in System Administration and preventive and corrective maintenance of SSEE systems (SSEE INC E, F).

  • Must have an active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance

  • Ability to provide onsite and remote assistance as requested to remote Learning Sites with Troubleshooting of hardware/software faults to SSEE Devices.

  • Familiar with design, theory of operation, and maintenance of SIGINT/IO Systems.

  • Experience with Lighthouse Technology development and architecture and framework and how Lighthouse Technology is integrated; signal analysis and verification testing with a focused emphasis on Signal Definition File (SDF) development and verification.

  • Expert knowledge and recent/relevant experience working with national agencies; this includes experience with the incorporation of Lighthouse Technology.

  • Expert knowledge of differences in processing Signals of Interest (SOI) with in SSEE system.

  • Experience with system administration of hybrid networks utilizing varied software loads as RHEL, SOLARIS, Windows Server, VmWare, CENT OS, Windows 7, Windows 10.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.

  • Regular communication (hearing/speaking).

  • Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.

  • Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).

  • Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, and may occasionally lift and move at least 25 pounds.

  • Ability to travel by car, air or other means of transportation, if required.
