This position is primarily responsible for Electrical, Instrument and Controls Engineering for multiple oil and gas midstream projects and facilities. Develop plans and specifications, perform analysis and provide reports on assigned tasks involving design and construction of new assets, operation and maintenance of existing assets or the optimization of assets.


  • Prepare and assist in preparing detailed project scope documents for expansion of natural gas and crude oil Instrumentation and Electrical projects.

  • Estimate project costs, prepare AFEs, and perform cost management functions.

  • Prepare specifications for motor control centers, breaker systems, electrical transfer switches, transformers, including cables, cabling systems, duct systems, power loads, and other equipment.

  • Develop Project Scope and Cost Estimate development on capital growth expansion and capital maintenance projects.

  • Provide control system and instrumentation design/troubleshooting for cryogenic and amine treating plants.

  • Provide support for the optimization of compressor and field process equipment performance.

  • Work as a team member and interface with other disciplines.

  • Instrumentation and control system input to P&IDs.

  • All instruments data sheets, flow, pressure, temperature and level.

  • Pneumatic and Electric On/Off valves Datasheets.

  • Pneumatic and Electric control valves Datasheets.

  • Specifying instrumentation and control material/equipment requirements.

  • Generating Requisitions for Quote (RFQs).

  • Instrument Index & I/O list.

  • Cause & Effect Diagrams.

  • Loop Drawing & Installation Details, PLC Wiring diagrams, Instrument location plan.

  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

  • Knowledge of Industry Standards.

  • Knowledge of oil and natural gas gathering/processing/transmission/operations.

  • Knowledge of design and construction of gathering/processing/transmission/assets.

  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs and Flow computers.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in speech and writing with employees at all levels throughout the organization.

  • Ability to collaborate across functions to improve business processes.

  • Knowledge of Process Safety Management, PHA, MOC processes.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities.


  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology
  • 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Engineering design (natural gas processing and treating plants experience is a plus).


Regular use of complex machines and equipment (desktop/laptop computer and software, road and production machines and equipment, etc.)


Intermediate: Spreadsheet, Word Processing/Typing

PLC programming, Wonderware

Maximizes patient safety by supporting the proper use, application and operational performance of patient care equipment. The Field Service Engineer I performs scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) according to hospital policies, procedures and industry-recognized standards, using specialized test equipment, tools, and simulation devices; maintains, services, troubleshoots and calibrates a variety of basic diagnostic imaging systems; documents all service events, performance tests and corrective maintenance; responsible for ordering repair parts, timely return of applicable repair parts, and timely submission of applicable order-related documentation; and assists with assigned projects, related to the installation, relocation, and disposal of medical imaging equipment/systems. Communicates effectively with customer(s) using various communication tools, communicates and works in conjunction with imaging equipment service providers to facilitate efficient equipment installs and repairs and participates in and/or assists with development of departmental and hospital-based continuous quality improvement initiatives. The ideal Field Service Engineer I candidate is able to repair, maintain, test, and calibrate basic diagnostic imaging equipment/systems to ensure safe and proper operation; routinely travel to facilities to assist with scheduled and unscheduled service activities; able to effectively communicate with and interact with customers, providers and team members; able to participate in on-call rotation; and able to effectively self-manage time and assigned projects.
