PURPOSE
Oversee the performance of a construction crew(s), while maintaining and upholding commitment to the continuous quality improvement process. Addresses construction service and product issues, specifically with rough framing, at the customer's site in order to ensure that customer complaints regarding the quality and reliability are resolved in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the day-to-day activities and schedules of the crew.
Assign duties and maintain time and production records.
Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems.
Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of crew.
Train team members in proper procedures and techniques.
Read and understand plans.
Ensure that installations are completed per specifications.
Operate tools, equipment and machinery as required.
Perform activities of workers supervised.
Demonstrate a commitment to the quality improvement process and the philosophy of continuous improvement.
Identify and respond actively and with sensitivity to the needs of all customers.
Participate as a team player in all phases of the organization.
Open and responsive to change.
Personally provide customers with knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt service at all times.
Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Adhere to the Company's safety standards and enforce safety regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
Investigate the condition of company building workmanship and products on the customer's site.
Recommends replacement or repair of defective products based on customer service guidelines.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises an assigned crew and assists in performance evaluations, coordinates with Operations Manage in hiring need, terminations, and disciplinary action as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
At least 2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Basic mathematical skills and measurement skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to solve practical problems
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals. technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public
May require a Driver's license, OSHA Safety Training, and trade certification
Knowledge of company products
Strong attention to detail
Valid Driver's License

Subject to both typical office environment and outside locations with temperature and weather variations.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds.
Work is performed on both company and customer sites and involves driving to customer locations.
May involve walking on uneven ground of a potential customer construction site.
