Field Coordinator, Belleville Americorps (Grant-Funded)

ANNOUNCEMENT

Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for a part-time, SWIC Educational Employee union position of Field Coordinator, Belleville AmeriCorps (Grant-Funded).

POSITION DESCRIPTION

In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, this position is responsible for two key components of the AmeriCorps program: grant documentation and member and partner relations. Work is completed both independently and with other staff.

Additionally, position is responsible for the training and development of members. Position reports to AmeriCorps Project Director. Local travel is required. This is a part-time, twelve-month position, up to 28 hours per week and is contingent upon grant funding.

QUALIFICATIONS

1.Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

2.Experience in the areas of social services and education along with community service preferred.

3.Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Access preferred.

4.Two years of Human Resources experience preferred.

STARTING PAY AND HOURS

$18.39 per hour, up to 28 hours per week.
