The Role

We are looking for the right candidate who will be the owner of product behavior in the field. Conducting and coordinating investigations, analyzing product part failures, teardowns, coordinates investigations of new failure modes. Coming up with solutions and opportunities to improve the quality of products.

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive Technical and Financial Risk Assessments for each new potential safety-relevant failure mode or with potentially high impact on warranty costs

  • Lead resolution of new failure modes with high risks, including task force team for escalated cases

  • Prepare and update of case summary for Safety Council meetings, and communication packages for customer communication

  • Support Key Account in customer communication

  • Define LLC for escalated cases

  • Drive validation of corrective action implementation and effectiveness

  • Lead the Field Claims Analysis team

  • Partner & cooperate with the Regional Field Claims Management teams for process review, improvement, and monitoring


  • Warranty cost reduction action plan


  • Lead time for investigation and corrective actions

  • Recurring Warranty costs as % of sales

  • Field Claims Closure rate within customer requirements

  • Ratio of Field Claims decided at pre-analysis level

  • NFF Ratio

Skills & Experience

  • Engineering Degree or technical background

  • Automotive experience in matrix environment is an asset

  • Experience in Root cause analysis tools (8D, FTA, QR6S)

  • Experience in managing warranty handling in similar industry

  • Experience in customer relationship

  • Reliability Analysis knowledge


  • Strong communication skills

  • Managing project portfolio

  • Six Sigma certification is an asset

  • Product Knowledge is an asset

  • Fluent in English and another European language (German, Polish) is an asset
