Acting in a pivotal role within a talented marketing team, the candidate will perform as a key internal / external liaison with sales and marketing. This person will be responsible for the planning and execution of the activations for our various professional sports relationships that will assist in generating sales leads and pipeline mutually for Extreme Networks and our partners. The role is expected to interact in a strategic manner with sales management to develop marketing plans and local programs, as well as leading a proactive approach to tactical execution on all activities. These activities include the coordinatization of joint field campaigns with partners, partner enablement and training, direct campaigns and events in region, product launches, tradeshows, lunch & learns, and email marketing.


  • Develop national marketing strategies and initiatives for official Extreme sport sponsorships to increase opportunities for our sales team and channel partners.

  • Cultivate deep understanding of partner community and build strategic channel marketing plans to champion Extreme cloud-management networking solutions and drive revenue and growth for our resellers.

  • Strategically leverage global campaigns, programs and product messaging and to fit regional territory needs and build pipeline.

  • Develop marketing plans with sales teams and channel partners on a quarterly basis and attend QBRs to present the results.

  • Identify relevant industry events and secure appropriate level of participation.

  • Coordinate and manage all regional activities, including tradeshows, networking events, partner meetings, and user group meetings.

  • Support overall marketing team goals and programs, ensuring success in your region.

  • Utilize SFDC to measure program ROI for all activities and analyze the sales funnel to identify areas for continual improvement.

Skill set / Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in Business to Business technology, ideally for an enterprise software company

  • Strong team player with initiative, a positive attitude, and proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment

  • Channel marketing experience: Can demonstrate experience of working resellers, managing and coordinating cooperative marketing initiatives, representing multiple stakeholders, and expectations/interests

  • Proven creative ability and resourcefulness in generating new ideas and solving problems - must have a "get it done" mentality

  • Salesforce and marketing automation platform experience

  • Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills as well as the ability to form strong relationships with sales

  • Detail-oriented with exceptional program and project management skills

  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
