Field Based Sr Home Health Aide - Las Vegas, NV

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsibilities of the home health aide are outlined in the plan of care, including but not limited to:

• Baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, changing bed linen

• Assisting patients with dressing and undressing, skin care to prevent breakdown

• Assisting with patients with toileting activities

• Keeping patient's living area clean and orderly as appropriate

• Assist with food preparation, if requested/needed

• Taking and recording oral, and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered

• Assisting n ambulation and exercise according to the plan of care

• Performing range of motion and other simple procedures as an extension to therapy services as ordered

• Remind patients in the self-administration of medication, meeting safety needs of patients and using equipment safely and properly

• Reporting on patients' condition and significant to the assigned nurse

• Adhering to the agency's documentation and care procedures and standards of personal and professional conduct

Required Qualifications:

• High school education or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of (1) year experience in health care.

• Must possess a current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification issued by the State of Nevada Board of Nursing

• Current CPR Certification

• Must possess a valid Nevada Driver's License and maintain personal auto insurance coverage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in home care preferred.

• MS Office proficiency

• Previous data entry skill set.

Nevada Residents Only: The hourly range for Nevada residents is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour.
