Primary Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the home health aide are outlined in the plan of care, including but not limited to:
Baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, changing bed linen
Assisting patients with dressing and undressing, skin care to prevent breakdown
Assisting with patients with toileting activities
Keeping patient's living area clean and orderly as appropriate
Assist with food preparation, if requested/needed
Taking and recording oral, and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered
Assisting n ambulation and exercise according to the plan of care
Performing range of motion and other simple procedures as an extension to therapy services as ordered
Remind patients in the self-administration of medication, meeting safety needs of patients and using equipment safely and properly
Reporting on patients' condition and significant to the assigned nurse
Adhering to the agency's documentation and care procedures and standards of personal and professional conduct

Required Qualifications:
High school education or equivalent experience.
Minimum of (1) year experience in health care.
Must possess a current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification issued by the State of Nevada Board of Nursing
Current CPR Certification
Must possess a valid Nevada Driver's License and maintain personal auto insurance coverage.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in home care preferred.
MS Office proficiency
Previous data entry skill set.
Nevada Residents Only: The hourly range for Nevada residents is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour.
