What you will have an opportunity to do:

Housekeeping staff play an integral role in ensuring that each of our customers have an exceptional stay at our Resort. At all times, our Housekeeping team is expected to be attentive to our Guests' needs, making them feel welcomed.

BASIC FUNCTION: The Housekeeping team is responsible to ensure that standards of cleanliness in assigned areas are achieved and maintained on a consistent basis to provide the highest level of guest satisfaction in cleanliness and service, within established time limitations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Keep work housekeeping equipment and areas, including carts, chemical caddies, storage closets, department storage areas orderly and properly stocked at all times.

  • Proper utilization of equipment supplies and guest amenities.

  • Thorough cleaning and sanitation of guest rooms, bathrooms, public areas and/or other areas.

  • Constant awareness of safety hazards, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks, and suspicious persons) and report to the Housekeeping Office. Follow all training procedures set forth in the Bloodborne Pathogens program.

  • Strict follow through on lost and found procedures (for example anything found in rooms that are vacant must be turned into Housekeeping Office directly). No articles should ever be removed from occupied rooms. Absolute respect for guests' property should always be exercised.

  • Practice safety standards at all times.

  • Responsible care of equipment.

  • Reports to work on time and according to posted schedule, to maintain accurate time records and follows proper standards for issuance of rooms.

  • Remain alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and co-workers at all times.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Scheduled hours may vary on business needs and may or may not include holidays, weekends, various shifts, overtime or reduced hours.

  • Perform other related duties as requested by the Housekeeping and Resort leadership.

ENVIRONMENT:

Indoor work with hard and carpeted surfaces. Occasional outdoor work. Good ventilation with artificial lighting.

What are we looking for?

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Housekeeping experience desirable.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Neat, pleasant personality.

  • Ability to work on feet for an extended period of time.

  • Ability to bend, reach, crouch, , kneel, push and pull 50+ on a consistent basis.

  • Ability to communicate effectively.

  • Ability to read room numbers, dates and basic instructions.

The right person will show organizational skills, cleaning standards, customer service, and should thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will also have a friendly and outgoing disposition and ready to work in a fast paced environment.

What you will have an opportunity to do: The Front Office Manager will have the responsibility to oversee the front office staff, including front desk, bell staff, and concierge. He or she must be able to work Front Desk and/or Bell Staff shifts as needed. He or she must also be able to work with Director of Rooms on budget to help with cost of supplies and schedules in the department. The Front Office manager plays an integral role in ensuring that each of our customers have an exceptional stay experience. The Front Office Manager is responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner. They must also be knowledgeable events and hours of operations for our guests. The right person will be show excellent customer service skills, must be passionate about guest's stays and should thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will also have a friendly, outgoing disposition and previous experience working as a Front Desk Manager or Supervisor in a bustling, fast-paced, hotel. BASIC FUNCTION: The Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Front Office operation. Including, but not limited to, ensuring customer satisfaction (internal and external), financial performance, and employee relations. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE * High school graduate or equivalent. * Four-year college degree, preferably in the hospitality industry or 5 years job related experience. * Two years of management experience in Front Office or Reservations preferred. * General computer proficiency. * Pleasant phone demeanor. * Advanced knowledge of Front Office computer systems, including the ability to solve system related problems. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Supervise the training of all Front Office employees and motivate them to perform their jobs effectively. * Develops operating / training manuals and keeps them up to date for the Front Desk * Responsible for ensuring that the Front Office is in compliance with all systems, control policies and procedures. * Performs Human Resource functions for staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance * Development and monitoring of the Front Office budget. * Assume Manager on Duty shifts when necessary. * Develop and maintain open lines of communication within the department and with other departments within the property. * Resolve guest problems expediently and in a professional manner. * Ensure exceptional guest service is delivered at the front desk. * Conduct monthly Front Office meetings. * Schedule staff to reflect daily occupancy and make sure schedule is concurrent with the arrival and departure pattern. * Direct the efforts of the Front Desk Supervisors and Front Office Agents. * Attend required meetings as a representative of the Front Office. * Attend property committee meetings, i.e. holiday, technology and safety. * Handle disciplinary action, coaching and counseling sessions and related personnel issues. * Ensure all group rooming lists are accurate and to coordinate any special group requests. * Delegate work among the staff in an equitable manner. MARGINAL FUNCTIONS: * Required to perform other tasks and duties as assigned. * Scheduled hours may vary on business needs and may or may not include holidays, weekends, various shifts, overtime or reduced hours. * To be a member of the Safety Committee * To assist other departments as required. * Will perform additional duties as requested by the Director of Rooms.
