What you will have an opportunity to do:
Housekeeping staff play an integral role in ensuring that each of our customers have an exceptional stay at our Resort. At all times, our Housekeeping team is expected to be attentive to our Guests' needs, making them feel welcomed.
BASIC FUNCTION: The Housekeeping team is responsible to ensure that standards of cleanliness in assigned areas are achieved and maintained on a consistent basis to provide the highest level of guest satisfaction in cleanliness and service, within established time limitations.
Keep work housekeeping equipment and areas, including carts, chemical caddies, storage closets, department storage areas orderly and properly stocked at all times.
Proper utilization of equipment supplies and guest amenities.
Thorough cleaning and sanitation of guest rooms, bathrooms, public areas and/or other areas.
Constant awareness of safety hazards, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks, and suspicious persons) and report to the Housekeeping Office. Follow all training procedures set forth in the Bloodborne Pathogens program.
Strict follow through on lost and found procedures (for example anything found in rooms that are vacant must be turned into Housekeeping Office directly). No articles should ever be removed from occupied rooms. Absolute respect for guests' property should always be exercised.
Practice safety standards at all times.
Responsible care of equipment.
Reports to work on time and according to posted schedule, to maintain accurate time records and follows proper standards for issuance of rooms.
Remain alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and co-workers at all times.
Scheduled hours may vary on business needs and may or may not include holidays, weekends, various shifts, overtime or reduced hours.
Perform other related duties as requested by the Housekeeping and Resort leadership.
Indoor work with hard and carpeted surfaces. Occasional outdoor work. Good ventilation with artificial lighting.

What are we looking for?
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
Housekeeping experience desirable.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Neat, pleasant personality.
Ability to work on feet for an extended period of time.
Ability to bend, reach, crouch, , kneel, push and pull 50+ on a consistent basis.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to read room numbers, dates and basic instructions.
The right person will show organizational skills, cleaning standards, customer service, and should thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will also have a friendly and outgoing disposition and ready to work in a fast paced environment.
