Overview

Experienced field technicians for an upcoming project in the Southern Nevada area starting immediately. The project is scheduled to last one week, with the potential for future work following this opportunity.

The ability to travel and work on short notice is necessary. There may be short periods of down time in between projects. Hourly wage based on CRM experience. Employment package includes: single occupancy hotel rooms for duration of fieldwork, travel and food compensation as policy guidelines, paid holidays as per policy guidelines, and health insurance as per corporate program.

Qualifications

Travel is necessary could be away from home for a few weeks at a time. Be able to respond and head out to field on short notice.

Minimum requirements include participation in an archaeological field school and a Bachelor's degree in anthropology, archaeology, or related field. The successful candidates will be self-motivated, physically able to conduct all aspects of fieldwork in all weather conditions, and be able to follow instructions from their crew chief.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: GED or High School Diploma Language Skills: Ability to speak and understand English. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Constantly sitting, standing at bench. Frequently lifting, carrying, calibrating equipment (max. 10 pounds). Constantly using finger dexterity and wrist movements with electronic circuitry. Occasionally lifting, moving, bending and stooping during machine moves (up to 150 pounds). WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work performed in a climate-controlled environment.
