Perform semiconductor engineering duties in furtherance of design and implementation in conjunction with product development for RFID technology. Develop a unique set of competences in the protocols and system architectures relying on the RFID technologies.

Deliver premium HW and RF technical support in content and time to assigned customers. Improve product definition and roadmaps by supporting customer evaluations and resolve any product issues that may arise in the customer's systems. Responsible for formal and informal product positioning that helps assigned accounts understand the operational, financial, and business impact of NXP solutions within their practice areas.

Leads proof of concept, solution design and demonstrations to secure NXP out solutions. Analyze sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements, design innovative requirements, and implement systems solutions. Contribute to the development and validation of RF components used in the deployment of wireless solutions.

Develop opportunities, make customer presentations, and support responses to technical requests for proposal. Own a complete and rare understanding of end-to-end identification solutions and act as a trusted referent in the Americas region for internal stakeholders and local customers. Up to 25% of domestic and international (EU and Asia) travel required.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, foreign equivalent or related field.

One (1 year) of experience in the job offered, Engineering Consultant, RF Engineer/ Reporter or related occupations.

Required skills:

Position requires experience in:

  • Technical knowledge in Radio Frequencies (RF), Microwave, Antennas, RSSI and SNR;

  • Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, RF simulation and debugging tools;

  • Schematic design and layout for RF sections;

  • Experience with RF Antenna design and simulation; and

  • Wireless technology standard like 4G, LTE.

Offered Annual Salary: $153,504

The base salary range for this position is as mentioned below per year. We also provide competitive benefits, incentive compensation, and/or equity for certain roles.

Please note that the base salary range (OR hourly rate) is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on a number of factors such as qualifications, skill level, work location, and other business and organizational needs.

This base pay range is specific to California and is not applicable to other locations. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range as of the date of this posting is:

$110,000 to $151,300 annually
