We are looking for a customer focused Car OEM Field Application Engineer to join our team at NEXPERIA focused on the Automotive Electronics Tier 1 suppliers.

NEXPERIA produces Discrete, Analog, Logic, Integrated Circuits and Power Semiconductors used in every application onboard today's ICE and HEV/EV vehicles. This individual should be someone who can embody the values of NEXPERIA and ready to be a member of our ambitious and highly motivated Sales and Marketing team. A successful candidate will be an integral member of the Americas team and ensure we build upon NEXPERIA's leadership position as a global powerhouse in Discretes, Logic and Power MOSFET technology while helping to drive the company's market penetration in WBG, analog and power management ICs and modules.

The successful individual will be a member of a dedicated sales team, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all NEXPERIA's Technical, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Expertise is fully leveraged at the account resulting in providing the highest possible level of customer satisfaction while maximizing sales and profit to one of most influential customers in the world. Job Description The most important aspect of a job description is to convey the responsibilities, qualifications, and expectations of the position accurately and clearly to potential candidates. This is your new job: • Accountable to drive design wins and new product in target account based on understanding customer design challenges. • Drive customer visits for technical product presentations, demonstrations, and product value proposition deployment. • Synthesizes customer, product positioning and competitive insights to improve product definition and roadmaps. • Manage technical response to customer requests for products based on experience and leveraging central technical resources. • Qualify design opportunities and establish value proposition/position relative to the competition. • Promote the product value (strengths versus competitive products) and quantifies the technical benefits derived from choosing Nexperia • Owns the application block diagram process to ensure full Nexperia system sell. • Establishes design win objectives and design funnel timing to meet customer programs. • Delivers ongoing formal and informal knowledge sharing and product positioning that helps assigned accounts understand the operational, financial, and business impact of Nexperia solutions within the automotive segment • Successfully builds relationships with sales, business lines, customers (engineering and management) in support of sales team objectives • Interface with the product teams on new product ideas and development from concept to release for sales, especially with key lead customers. • Assists in educating Field Sales Engineers on new technologies, new product features and their related business value This is you:

Education/ studies: BSEE. MSEE preferred. Minimum 3 years' experience in Electronic design in Body, Powertrain, EV and/or industrial applications.

Experience with design analysis, simulation and other tools used for WCA/Simulation. Technical experience related to power applications such as Power Distribution, Low Voltage Electrical Systems, Electrification, ECUs, BCMs and/or power supplies/management. Strong communication and presentation skills to drive communication with relevant stake holders.

General Understanding of Americas Semiconductor Market and willingness to learn the NEXPERIA portfolio, and key competitors. General knowledge of Discrete Semiconductors including MOSFETs, ESD protection and Logic, analog and power management ICs. The ability to execute strategies skillfully involving multiple stakeholders.

Willingness to travel, primarily Midwest US (10 to 20%%) and occasionally international, when needed.
