What we need

The Field and Account Based Marketing Manager is responsible for marketing activities that are targeted at developing awareness among Glofox target customers in specific regions. You will work closely with the rest of the Marketing team and the North American Enterprise Sales team in order to grow our footprint in key target accounts in the fitness industry.

This is a role for a Marketing generalist with a passion for events and media.

In this role, you will identify target customers in Los Angeles and other US cities. You will then develop and execute strategies to get in the door including, but not limited to, email outreach, events and conferences, case study creation, and video production.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Building lists of target companies by city/state.
  • Identification of initiatives to generate awareness among target accounts.
  • Tracking of marketing performance within target accounts and tracking of the marketing-generated pipeline within target accounts.
  • Sourcing industry personalities for interviews and case studies.
  • Host video and audio interviews with industry personalities.
  • Research industry topics and people as input to reports and interviews.
  • Management of conference calendars and logistics.
  • Organization of local boutique-fitness business-focused events and meetups.
  • Become involved in local fitness-business communities.
  • Organization of exec-level dinners and events.
  • Development of account-specific sales collateral - sales decks, reports.
  • Creation of pipeline acceleration programs to engage additional stakeholders and speed up the sales cycle of existing opportunities within target accounts.


Skills youll need

  • 1-3 years general marketing experience
  • Comfortable being an evangelist on-video, on social media and at events
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills

The ideal candidate will be a marketing professional — with a strong desire to grow in global account based marketing methodology and professional services marketing— with an ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of a matrixed global organization. Responsibilities include As part of Deloitte's industry marketing team, account based marketers focus on growing key accounts and engaging target executives by developing, executing, sustaining and measuring strategic marketing programs. They drive opportunities by integrating national marketing programs and campaigns at accounts, as well as by building customized and personalized programming and campaigns directly for an account or small group of accounts. * Lead account-specific marketing planning aligned to business and account strategies, industry and sector focus areas, and client growth opportunities * Create annual marketing campaign plans for target accounts that prioritize the business goals of the account and drive client engagement * Engage the appropriate global resources in developing and executing campaigns; oversee, in conjunction with creative and marketing delivery resources, delivery of campaigns * Oversee the deployment of account-specific marketing tactics, in conjunction with the appropriate global resources, to deliver the right messages at the right time to the right client stakeholders * Plan and manage marketing budgets for campaigns * Proactively interface with account leadership and account team members to coordinate, communicate, and optimize the impact of marketing activities * Serve as a marketing leader on the account team directly engaging with account leadership in strategic discussions that impact account strategies; adjust marketing programs and campaign plans, as needed, to maintain alignment to account strategies and goals * Develop and maintain profiles and key personas for target executive relationships that are monitored and tracked as part of account KPIs and performance measurement * Collaborate with the global marketing team, global industry and sector teams and other account based marketers to leverage best practices, identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness, build a culture of collaboration and, as needed, align marketing programs * Identify "white space" opportunities that align to the account's priorities, to monitor account engagement metrics, determine the effectiveness of account-based marketing, and develop reports on the impact of marketing * Be a steward of the Deloitte brand on the account in alignment with the Deloitte brand * Serve as a liaison between the account and broader global and domestic Marketing & Communications community; search for ways to enhance collaboration between and among account and non-account marketing professionals Skills and Competencies * Deep understanding of account based marketing and its strategies including relationship management, marketing automation and campaign driven marketing approaches * Strong understanding of and ability to integrate key marketing technologies into day-to-day job responsibilities including, but not limited to CRM, Marketing Automation, CX, analytics, email marketing * Background in, and understanding of, trends impacting an industry like Financial Services, Consumer Products or Life Sciences/Healthcare * Executive presence and demonstrated ability to take initiative * Capability and experience in working directly with senior account leaders and client executives * Strong persuasive communication skills;
