Field Alliance Manager Amazon Web Services/VMware
The ideal candidate is someone who
Has extensive field management experience
Works directly with partners and is responsible for treating our partners like customers
Has a strong background in Cloud technology as it relates to business outcomes
Enjoys running the "business" of partnering
Enjoys building relationships
Geeks out on metrics TPS Reports for the enlightened
Can deal with ambiguity and enjoys bringing clarity to any situation
Can explain how robots are going to take over
Things you would have to do here.
Lead the day-to-day relationship and activities with AWS field team in the US
Drive sales alignment between AWS and sales team, i.e., joint account planning and execution
Be the expert in the AWS sales messaging, motion, and organizational alignment based on the 2nd Watch way
Create and communicate differentiated value propositions and messaging for 2nd Watch solutions together with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Co-develop messaging and programs to generate sales alignment and success
Use internal and external resources to effectively position 2nd Watch as a leader/partner of choice within AWS
Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates AWS and 2nd Watch needs on an ongoing basis and works to manage channel conflict
Actively track joint sales pipeline & meet or exceed quarterly & annual partner revenue targets
Enable 2nd Watch to engage effectively with AWS and/or VMware prospects by driving partner education, training, sales enablement, & joint marketing programs
Manage activity & success of alliances in Salesforce.com
Responsible for pipeline reporting on behalf of 2nd Watch, leveraging AWS APN Network and equivalent VMware portal
Be the focal point with 2W sales regions to drive overarching partner activities and alignment
Serves as 2nd Watch brand ambassador to identify opportunities to present, sponsor, or co-market events
Responsible for rolling out to our RTM and delivery teams the most recent and recurring programs that AWS offers (e.g. POC, MDF, AWS MAP, etc.)
Be entrepreneurial Identify and pursue new market opportunities with AWS, and the 2nd Watch sales team and reseller community
