Field Account Executive

Get Inspired by the Work You'll Do

  • Call on existing accounts as well as prospective accounts whose corporate profile align with SYNNEX strategies

  • Implement strategies and plan sessions to develop, strengthen and improve relationships and SYNNEX's bottom line

  • Address and resolve the challenges customers face

  • Prepare and present professional and managed services, including server assessments, network monitoring and cloud computing solutions that boost productivity to benefit the P&L

  • Manage multiple types and levels of sales accounts including but not limited to troubled accounts that need hand holding or an investment of more time

  • Manage, facilitate and attend weekly meetings

  • US based travel majority of the time in the computer and consumer electronics industry sector

  • Implement demonstrations for the customer by leveraging other departments

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate and grow revenue and profit

  • Provide technical assistance and advice to less experienced Sales Reps and function as a resource as they progress in their position

  • Work on significant and unique issues where analysis of situation requires an evaluation of tangibles

  • Exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

  • Create formal networks involving coordination amongst groups

  • Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments

Your passion is sparked by:

  • Bachelor's Degree and twelve (12) plus years of related experience and/or an equivalent combination of required

  • Experience with System Integrators and OEM's

  • Proven expertise in marketing and/or business management

  • Demonstrated expert level knowledge and understanding of the interfaces and interrelationships between Sales, Marketing and Business Development functions

  • Established ability multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with an advanced level of computer literacy with MS Office applications required

  • Server Storage and Appliance experience required

  • Must possess a solid understanding of Sales Operations and have an in-depth understanding of management principles and practices

  • Recognized track record of closing business deals

  • Proven business communication skills, particularly facilitation, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Prior experience working remotely a must

  • Must be able to travel 25% including traveling in the computer and consumer electronics sector

  • A clean driving record and ability to maintain a clean driving record required

VIEW JOBS 11/11/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-09T00:00 Duties and Responsibilities: * Identify and close sales opportunities in accordance with the Company's overall strategic plans and financial objectives * Develop and maintain relationships with solar distribution channels and strategic accounts * Actively pursue direct sales leads with installers, distributors, investors and utility companies * Assist with forecast of revenue on a regular basis and review sales results to ensure that established targets are being met; take corrective action where required * Nurture the relationship with leading PV project developers at multiple levels to ensure that SolarEdge remains the supplier of choice for power conversion electronics for their installations * Assist the product management teams to define and improve the product portfolio for use in the US market by regularly gathering feedback from customers, business partners and by closely monitoring industry trends * Provide input regarding marketing and product positioning strategies specific to the US and Canadian markets * Successfully execute a brand and messaging strategy and act as an external evangelist for the brand * Identify and close sales opportunities in accordance with the Company's overall strategic plans and financial objectives * Liaise with the U.S. and global executive management team and peers to ensure that sales targets are being defined and met Required Skills and Qualifications: * 2+ years of quota carrying software or technology sales experience * This role has both hunting (new clients) and farming (handling and managing existing clients) - someone comfortable with both aspects, and strong closing skills required * Track record of over-achieving quota in past positions * Previous experience in the PV industry will be a significant advantage * Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the technical workings of the SolarEdge product line and convey the advanced technical product benefits to potential customers in easy-to-grasp terms * A distinct customer service focus * Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills * Experience working for an international organization is preferred Solaredge Fremont CA
