Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and counsel in the area of personal trust products and services; manage and administer all aspects of assigned clients' fiduciary accounts.

  • Provide high level customer service to clients, beneficiaries, attorneys, and other related parties to assigned accounts.

  • Monitor and service client accounts daily to ensure smooth operations and adherence to bank policies and procedures.

  • Coordinate and arrange for the presentation and review of discretionary distributions, other discretionary matters, and acceptance of new fiduciary business.

  • Escalate issues to the Director of Fiduciary Services and Compliance/Fiduciary Officer as appropriate.

  • Administer accounts in a manner that ensures compliance with relevant governing instruments, legal requirements, and business line policies and procedures.

  • Proactively consult with clients regarding legal, tax, investment, and general administration of their accounts.

  • Actively pursue opportunities to acquire new business both in securing additional assets from existing clients as well as seeking new client opportunities.

  • Responsible for working with and coordinating the efforts of our Investment Team, Financial Planning and Tax Specialists, Estate Planning, and Portfolio Management Teams to create comprehensive financial strategies and solutions to help clients achieve their desired objectives over their lifetime.

Education and Training

  • Requires a bachelors' degree or commensurate experience with fiduciary administration; previous trust experience preferred.

  • On-going development and broadening of appropriate knowledge and skills; additional education will need to be successfully completed.

Qualifications

Knowledge:

  • Experience administering fiduciary accounts

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong client service skills

  • Knowledge of Wealth Management Services including trust and estate administration, investments, and banking concepts

  • Knowledge of standard business systems, including but not limited to Trust Accounting systems, Microsoft Office and Outlook

Ability:

  • Ability to analyze and solve problems that frequently involve making decisions based on a wide knowledge of many factors where application of advanced technical concepts is predominantly required

  • Ability to analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations

  • Excellent time management skills

VIEW JOBS 11/8/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-02-06T00:00 Position Title: Mortgage Loan Officer Department: Loan Department Supervisor: VP of Lending FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Location: Branch Location Effective Date: January 1, 2017 Objective: The Mortgage Loan Officer will develop relationships and solicit business from current customers, referrals, and walk-in customers. This position will accept the application, grant approval, and process and originate mortgage and consumer loans for the Bank. The objective is to assist borrowers in evaluating their opportunity to borrow money to invest in a home. Essential Duties: * Analyze applicants' needs, financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans. * Explain to customers the different types of loans and credit options that are available, as well as the terms of those services. * Stay up-to-date with law/regulation changes. * Fund loan/run tickets to put loan in the Bank's system. * Answer questions and concerns customers have about existing accounts. * Approve, process, and originate mortgage and consumer loans. * Troubleshoot accounting errors and resolve issues. * Collect past due loans when necessary. * Evaluate and inspect properties. * Calculate debt, income, ability to repay, value, etc. * Market the Bank's products to customers and expand our relationship with them. * Maximize bank profitability through appropriate pricing of new loan originations, fee income and selling of all Bank products and services. * Develop business contacts and customers through networking activities. Secondary Duties: * Execute the filing, balancing, and documentation of loan customers. * Other duties as assigned.
