Responsibilities
The Learning Experience Designer works on various learning projects at the Florida Institute for Child Welfare (FICW). The position will develop e-learning opportunities using proven instructional design methods.
Deliver impactful learning experiences. Create e-learning content using authoring tools and the learning management system for remote and hybrid environments.
Collaborate on the development of training guides. Proactively seek out and try new tools and technologies to create quality learning experiences.
Collaborate with the learning projects' team and subject matter experts to create learning experiences consistent with our strategic plan and proven instructional design methods. Work with a multidisciplinary team to include FICW communications team, FICW evaluation team, FICW administration team, and curriculum and content developers.
Supports the learning management system, survey monkey apply platform, utilizes authoring tools, and hosts webinars on the ZOOM webinar platform. Tracks project progress through Smartsheets.
Contributes to the overall functioning of the Institute, which includes, but is not limited to: 1) participation in staff meetings; 2) serving as an Institute representative in local, statewide, or national professional workgroups; 3) contributing to regular or ongoing Institute initiatives (e.g., annual symposium) as needed; and 4) participation in professional development activities.
Qualifications
Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or other appropriate degree and two years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing or managing VR and/or simulations.

Anticipated Salary Range
Anticipated salary in the low $50,000's, commensurate with education and experience.
