Job Description


You'll provide structure and infrastructure-centric SIGINT analysis in support of customer requests for information in order to identify and exploit vulnerabilities and collection opportunities for future or on-going operations. This position is in support of the Facilities and Infrastructure Characterization and Analysis (FICA) Branch at the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC). You will also work on a multi-intelligence fused team consisting of all-source analysts, IMINT and GIS specialists, Culture and Language analysts, with TECH and Collection Management support.


Typically requires a BA degree or equivalent and two to four years of related experience.

Must have a current TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.

Must have ability to gain NSA access.

Both Digital Network Intelligence (DNI) and Dialed Number Recognition (DNR) experience.

Desired Qualifications:

Military SIGINT background desired.

Targeting experience in support of SOF or SMU customers is highly desired.

Ability to research unclassified and classified databases for use in written products.

Ability to research, compile, evaluate and integrate Signals Intelligence into Intelligence Community assessments and reports.

Ability to prepare the SIGINT related portions of intelligence products and assessments.

Demonstrated expertise in the use of analyst tools and databases used in geo spatial analysis.

Ability to performs link-and-nodal analysis, data mining, and metadata analysis utilizing geo-spatial analytical techniques; presents SIGINT findings utilizing visualization applications.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Cyber Analyst coordinates with the NGIC Cyber Branch, NSA, the US Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) and US Army Forces Cyber Command (USARFORCYBER), and theater cyber offices to assist CITP analysts to integrate cyber data into CITP products. The CA performs his/her primary duties at the NGIC and is not considered deployable, but may be required to travel on a short-term, temporary basis to CONUS an OCONUS locations to coordinate CITP operational requirements. REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: The Cyber Analyst shall be proficient at using basic computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development; possess strong research and writing skills; be capable of coordinating CITP cyber intelligence requirements with theater and IC cyber intelligence organizations and be knowledgeable of data processing systems such as NSANet, DCGS-A, CIDNE, and SIPRNET and JWICS search engines. Candidates will be a government trained Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) analyst with a minimum of five years of experience and experience dealing with cyber related intelligence and familiarization with the US Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), US Army Forces Cyber Command (USARFORCYBER), or theater cyber offices. Qualified candidates will possess former Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 35G, 35S, 352C, DOD joint service or civilian equivalent and a Bachelor's Degree (four years of job specific experience may substitute for the education requirement). PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: The preferred candidate will possess experience with SIGINT support of counterterrorism, counter insurgency or counter IED operations and previous deployment(s) to Afghanistan is desired.
