Job Summary:

Inspect and maintain fiberglass, upholstery, awnings, and seat-belts on rides and equipment.

Specific Duties and Responsibility:

  • Perform daily inspections and repairs to ride structures and units.

  • Maintain park fiberglass, upholstery, awnings, and seat-belts.

  • Work with other departments to complete duties.

  • Maintain compliance with a safety rules, procedures, and regulations.

  • Maintain positive and professional interactions with other employees and guests.

  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of maintenance experience involving repair of fiberglass and/or upholstery preferred.

  • Should have a varied skill set that includes knowledge of general maintenance.

  • Experience with pouring molds and mold making preferred.

  • Must be able to climb stairs and ride units and work at heights of 50 feet or more.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.

  • Must be able to stoop, bend, and lift regularly.

  • Must be self-motivated and able to perform tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Must work well with a team and individually.

  • Must be able to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and extended hours as needed.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and possess basic hand tools.

  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clear driving record.

This is where you can work on industry leading engine technology such as High-horsepower GenSets, Integrated Power Systems, and PowerCommand panels in the Commercial Industrial, Data Center, and Prime Power markets while working in some of the most beautiful scenery in the world.<br /> Completes diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds on power generation products in a service workshop under limited supervision<br /> Applies documented procedures and policies to complete complex repairs, assembles and reassembles power generation units, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools<br /> Performs preventative maintenance based on assessment of power generation units<br /> Assists Level III Technicians with diagnostics and development of repair plans on engines in the workshop<br /> Completes required documentation, such as work completed documents, time sheets, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens<br /> Completes training in line with skill and business requirements<br /> Maintains work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation<br /> Adheres to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor<br />  <br />  <br /> <strong>Qualifications</strong><br /> <strong>Skills</strong><br /> <strong>Skill Level A</strong><br /> Level I Technician plus:<br /> Ability to carry out basic diagnostics using Cummins diagnostic tools on different product types with minimal supervision<br /> Able to fully use all required Cummins service tools including Insite, EDS, Quick Serve On Line, INPOWER<br /> Capable of developing collaborative working relationships<br /> Able to identify opportunities for work process improvements<br /> Can resolve common technical problems<br /> Ability to perform basic generator maintenance and inspections.<br />  <br /> <strong>Skill Level B</strong><br /> <strong>Skill Level A plus:</strong><br /> Ability to carry out full diagnostics using Cummins diagnostic tools on different product types without supervision<br /> In depth electrical repair and maintenance capability to carry out external engine repairs including fuel system components without supervision<br /> Ability to develop and maintain productive customer relationships<br /> Experience in Switch gear and controllers.<br /> Experience with Start-ups.<br /> Experience with Cummins Genset controls 20-2000kw range.<br /> Experience with automatic transfer switch products.<br /> Ability to identify and up sell further service and repair opportunities<br /> Able to identify opportunities for work process improvements<br /> Can resolve common technical problems<br />  <br />  <br /> <strong>Education, Licenses, Certification's</strong><br /> Apprentice Certified Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred)<br /> Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution (Preferred)<br /> Strong computer knowledge and skills (preferred)<br /> <strong>Experience</strong><br /> Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience working with power generation products High Voltage/Low Voltage practical experience<br /> Low Voltage experience (0-600vac)<br /> Customer service experience<br /> Requires On-call, after hours, night shift, out of town/overnight stays (one week a month) in outside and hazardous working conditions.<br /> <strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong><br /> Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently; pushing and pulling a maximum force of 50#.<br /> Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time<br /> Must have the physical ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Protective Glasses and Protective Footwear as required.<br />  <br /> <strong>Required Education, Licenses or Certifications:</strong><br /> College, University, or equivalent degree in Engineering required.
