Fiber Splicer Technician Team Lead

Full Time, $35-45 / hr. (DOE) + Benefits
Locations are Project basedSummary:
Responsible for performing fiber optic splicing, interpreting drawings, and leading a team to meet departmental goals.Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform fusion/mechanical splicing of SM/MM cables, including connector terminations.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to complete splicing tasks.
• Install and test closures for all cable types.
• Develop and interpret splice drawings and OTDR results.
• Manage fiber asset inventory and project reports.
• Lead multiple projects, manage trailer operations, and organize splicing records.
• Provide technical support on splicing practices.

• Participate in ongoing training (classroom, online, and on-the-job).
• Perform housekeeping, inventory, equipment inspections, and maintenance.
• Assist with material handling, damage prevention, and site security.
• Complete assigned clerical tasks and support other duties as needed.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and level 4 background check.
• Customer-focused and able to maintain confidentiality.
