Fiber Projects Coordinator - Wisconsin

TekCom Resources is seeking a Fiber Projects Coordinator for a permanent-hire role with our fast-growing fiber client in Wisconsin! This role will be helping to coordinate the execution of primarily outside plant construction projects across the state; candidates may work out of ANY of our client's offices in Wisconsin, including Oshkosh, Janesville, Eau Claire and Wausau.

As Fiber Projects Coordinator, you will assist other personnel in tracking progress of fiber construction projects across the state. This can involve a mix of the following duties depending on the specific project:

• Quality checking work performed by the Splicing teams and addressing their questions and concerns.
• Fielding calls from and conducting meetings with Construction Coordinators and Managers, as well as our client's customers.
• Review "job portfolios" and relay information to in-house crews or subcontractors.
• Conduct field walkouts when necessary to ensure crews have required materials and equipment.
• Send in updated As-built and other documentation as they are completed to reflect any changes.
• Go over employee/contractor's completed work to approve or decline billing, and ensure proper billing and requesting for billing is accurate to the projects.

Our client would like to see the following background from candidates:

• 2-5 years of fiber construction coordinating experience; Project or Construction Coordinators will likely be comfortable with the role, as will Field Supervisors who have fulfilled additional project tracking or customer-facing duties.
• Experience with billing, materials ordering, subcontractor management - any project management-related duties like this will be noteworthy for this role!
