We currently have an open assignment for a Bilingual Production Lead for a Fiber Optic and Copper Cable Manufacturing Company in the Tampa, FL (33619) area. We offer great benefits - vacation and holiday pay, along with healthcare benefits and 401K! There is also a potential for bonuses!

This is a Temp to Hire Position! Position available for 2nd Shift but must have open availability
Pay Rate: $12-14 per hour (Depending on Experience), overtime required plus great benefits
Shift Times: 2: 00 PM - 10: 30 PM, some Saturday s required

Job Duties:
Will supervise and lead a diverse workforce as well as perform Assembly.
Will assist in supervising the associates on the production floor.
Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams
Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures


Previous experience as a team leader or line leader in production and/or mfg field
Electronic Manufacturing experience preferred.
Knowledge of production tools and equipment
Strong leadership qualities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Additional duties as required by supervisor/manager.
Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly
Work in a safe manner and follow all safety rules and procedures to ensure personal safety as well as safety of co-workers.
When limited/no work in area, may provide assistance to other departments as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

A Material Handler is primarily responsible for unloading and stocking tires and auto parts. Position will require pulling products from shelves and loading/unloading trucks in a timely and efficient manner to meet customer service expectations. Associate can resolve most questions and problems, and refers more complex issues to the team, supervisor or manager. Will include 5 - 25% back-up driver duties, may increase during busy season. Warehouse Material Handler Video * Receiving: * Check in and process proper documentation * Check in product completely and accurately * Stock products and process returns properly * Loading: * Pick products for daily deliveries along with special deliveries and loads trucks * Load trucks using good judgement regarding use of space and product safety * Demonstrate safe work behaviors in all assigned tasks * Returns: * Inspect and physically count return merchandise assuring it is in resalable condition in order to give a "Quality Minded" reputation * Operate power equipment, including powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high reach lifts * May perform counter, dispatch, or backup driver duties * Backup drivers fill in for vacations, call offs, extra runs, driving vehicles to offsite locations or as needed. Size of vehicle will depend on location. * Be proficient and perform the proper procedures for performing pre-trip and post trip inspections on vehicles.
