Fiber Installation Technician

Responsibilities Repair and install fiber optics systems and telephone in accordance with guidelines. Set up and configure residential networking equipment such as ONT's, routers and switches. Analyze and record test results within prescribed parameters by performing testing on company issued devices and customer devices.

Interface with customers to identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues. Complete paperwork accurately and report and record all work order status updates. Customer service duties such as : Greet and interact with customers in a professional, courteous manner including when responding to escalations and repeated customer concerns; Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement.

Educate the customer regarding product and service usage. Qualifications Who we are looking for… You are at least 18 years old Must have a valid driver's license Authorized to work in the United States for this company High school diploma or GED equivalent Comfortable working in tight spaces (crawl space, attic, etc) Comfortable working through inclement weather Experience with small hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
