Fiber Installation Technician

Overview and Essential Functions Prince Telecom is currently hiring qualified Field Technicians to join our team to help connect America. Responsibilities Resolve, repair and install fiber optics systems and telephone in accordance with guidelines. Ability to set up and configure residential networking equipment such as ONT's, routers and switches. Analyze and record test results within prescribed parameters by performing testing on company issued devices and customer devices.

Interface with customers to identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues. Drive a company vehicle between home/office, warehouse, and work sites in a safe and courteous manner. Maintain a clean and stocked vehicle with equipment in order to be prepared to perform required duties.

Complete paperwork accurately and report and record all work order status updates. Customer service duties such as : Greet and interact with customers in a professional, courteous manner including when responding to escalations and repeated customer concerns; Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement. Educate the customer regarding product and service usage.
