Fiber Installation Technician

Overview and Essential Functions CAVO is seeking Fiber Installation Technicians to join our team! The Fiber Installation Technician will perform residential and/or multi-dwelling unit cable television, high speed data and/or telephone installations from the tap to the customer premise equipment in a safe, courteous and efficient manner, to client specifications.

We provide paid training, a company vehicle, full benefits, and tuition assistance. What you'll do… Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot cable TV, internet, telephone and/or alarm equipment in accordance with guidelines. Use small hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.

Ensure services operate within prescribed parameters. Attempt to identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues. Complete paperwork accurately and report/record work order status updates.

Perform Customer service duties by: Greeting customers in the home while conducting a walk through; Reviewing all requested services with the customer to ensure understanding and agreement; Interacting with customers in a professional, courteous manner including when responding to escalations and repeated customer concerns; Educating the customer regarding product and service usage.
