Considerations: This position works full time out of our Park City, UT office. May be lodged in Park City during the January Film Festival. Required to work extended hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet deadlines. Must be willing and available to respond to on-call needs as assigned. A high level of mobility is required as well as an ability to drive safely in winter road conditions.

Position General Summary:
Coordinates equipment, uniforms, and logistics for staff and volunteer check-in during the Sundance Film Festival.

Essential Job Functions and Duties:

  • Plans and implements logistical needs to ensure functionality of the offsite logistics and uniform room during the Festival.

  • Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders office equipment, design technical needs, setup, teardown, etc.

  • Staffs the logistics and uniform room and staff and volunteer check-in to support team and assigned volunteers.

  • Inputs data into the FLD database daily to ensure information is accurate.

  • Maintains and tracks inventory of various equipment such as radios, cell phones, and corporate incentive items as directed.

  • Acts as a department contact to field questions from internal and external sources.

  • Provides oversight of the uniform room during festival and provides direction to volunteers.

  • Provides frequent updates to internal stakeholders on equipment and incentive inventory.

  • Tests functionality, adheres labels, and programs radios and cell phones prior to disbursement.

  • Troubleshoots logistical issues and escalates to manager as necessary.

  • Completes billing, reconciling, and submits reimbursements for cell phone accounts as directed.

  • Constructs and prints the Sundance Yellow Pages and the STOP team directories.

  • Ensures both the logistics and uniform room are clean, organized, secure and safe at all times.

  • Completes a written wrap report with suggestions for improvement.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

  • Valid driver's license and successful completion of DMV background check.

  • 2 years experience in event logistics, operations or related.

  • Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written.

  • Strong interpersonal and professional skills required to work effectively with a variety of people.

  • Excellent organizational skills including self management of work schedule.

  • Must be able to maintain confidential information.

  • Ability to work nights and weekends around events and key deadlines.

  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Education, Experience and

Skills:
  • Working knowledge of databases along with proficiency in Google Products.

  • Knowledge of Park City and Salt Lake City.

Position General Summary: Supports attending New Frontier artists during the Sundance Film Festival by presenting their work of art to patrons and guests utilizing the messaging provided by the artist. Essential Job Functions and Duties: * Provides input during daily ops meetings with the team and artists. * Learns about each of the attending artists and their exhibitions in order to communicate to patrons. * Ensures thorough understanding of the equipment that's associated with the exhibitions in order to assist patrons. * Is actively available to present and appropriately message details of each exhibit with patrons during the artists absence. * Provides daily training to assigned volunteers and directs them to facilitate operations. * Provides general troubleshooting of the equipment and escalates as necessary. * Provides daily reports on all technical issues that occur during shift, including how it was resolved to team. * Conducts general maintenance of tech equipment (cleaning, resetting, etc.) after each showing as directed. * Tallies the number of patrons who visit each individual exhibition and provides a daily report to manager. * Proactively walks through the venue to clear and ensure space is safe from possible hazards. * Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements: * Legal authorization to work in the United States. * Experience working with Virtual Reality (VR) equipment. * Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written. * Strong interpersonal and professional skills required to work effectively with a variety of people. * Excellent organizational skills including self-management of work schedule. * Able to facilitate positive customer relations. * Ability to work nights and weekends. * Ability to lift and carry items up to 30 lbs. * Able to stand and walk for long durations 12+ hours a day.
